Blake needs to admit it to himself that the major injury has set him back and it would be better off to focus on more attainable goals. Yohan has served the sport incredibly and he will always be remembered for this.

To participate in next year's Olympics, he must qualify, which is up in the air. As well as Yohan did, he should have done better. He had some of the best raw talent in sprinting history. I think his love for Cricket was a definite factor in his failure to optimize his track career, Bolt or no Bolt.

Sometimes we forget that Yohan is the second best sprinter of all time, he competed against Bolt and beat him a few times, who did that with Usain at his prime? No one, Blake is bigger than any of the athletes that competes nowadays…

Hmm 🤔 As you get older, if you had not maintain a consistent level of fitness and suppleness throughout, it become much harder. You will find you have to put in extra work to achieve the same results and each day on occasions will be different. Plus you will always find younger talents doing less and matching and surpassing your ability. But with the right mind-set, and consistency in practice on some occasions, you will compete at the highest level. But you have to be disciplined and ready to put it the hard work.
