#11 River Ouse 24 Nov 2020

A few hours on the Great Ouse, once again after chub.
I usually fish a simple link leger for chub but today I also tried using an open-ended feeder with liquidised bread. Having done a bit of reading on the subject I thought that this might improve my chances in the heavier more coloured water that we experience during the autumn/winter.
Several tentative bites produced a couple of smallish chub.

Very nice video. Meeting some friends on the Great Ouse in a fortnight nr Godmanchester which is how I stumbled upon this channel. Looks like we might have some nice roach and chub fishing. Any idea if there's Zander that far up as it looks like our intended trip to Grafham reservoir is going to cancel.
