I understand the direction the games went in but fuck man why cant the OST's be this whimsical and mysterious? I love the new OSTS but they're more dramatic and grandiose. this makes me feel as if I stepped into a dream-like fairy tale

The daggerfall spiritual successor ‘the wayward realms’ by Julian lefay and Ted Peterson is bringing back the original daggerfall composer eric heberling. If you haven’t seen it already heberling has made a pre-development soundtrack inspired by the upcoming game on his KZbin channel and it has the same vibes as Daggerfall on a lot of the tracks

i remember playing the game for the first time coming right from Skyrim. The song started playing as snow dropped to the ground in the busy streets and I remember stopping and just taking in. It was just the music alone that made the world feel so whimsical and fantasy like.
