By mistake, I have forgotten to make one allocation in 4th iteration (20:11). Please make allocation of 10 in R12(First row, Second column) and then do calculation. As its answer will be positive number, it will not affect the optimal solution. Sorry for the mistake.

hello sir , this is aryan from lucknow . I had solved this question from (NWCM) and the total cost is comming near about 870 , and then i m proceeding for stepping stone method and i am getting the -40 at second table , so is it possible to have a different answer through different method , if so then what have to do in exam?

NWCM, LCM, VAM gives initial basic feasible solution. MODI Method & Stepping stone method will give you optimal solution. So answers may be different for NWCM & Stepping stone if I.B.F.S. is not optimal solution.

As well as in exam everyone will do with different method , so some people will get the answer and some not
