Hey great review! I think the fragrance houses finally recognize that we will wear whatever we like! Men's fragrances have always had a woody or spicy note that make them interesting enough for a lady to want to try them so now the fragrance houses are doing the same with the women's fragrance! My favorite from back in the day was Escape for men! It smelled much better to me than the women's version!😂

Great list, thanks for the suggestions. I recently tried the Aoud Blue Notes from Mancera and what a fragrance. Unlike other fresh scents, unique and classy. Love it, will be the next addition for me

Agree with Aoud Blue Notes. Other fragrances I love: Bharara Bleu (inspired by PDM Layton) and Mancera Aqua Wood. Both great performers and very appropriate for warm weather.

I never got my hands on aqua wood, what's it like?

@@maxsmells top notes: pear and citruses; middle notes: ginger, rose, patchuli; base notes: amber, musk, benzoin, incense. Not really aquatic; not really blue, and certainly not woody. It's fresh, but also spicy and it has weight. Apparebtly, the opening is similar to Aqua Amara, but then goes on a different direction.
