I recently stayed 5 days at a house in the TX Hill Country. I brought my own Kleenex and paper towels. They did have Kleenex in every room, but only 1 roll of paper towels. With 4 grands under 6 years old, I knew we would go through lots of paper towels.

Thank you! The thought of starting an STR is borderline overwhelming. Videos like these are pushing me closer and closer to the edge of the rabbit hole.

Is it better to have a large home or a small studio or condo type for first str? Looking at a cabin to sleep 12 and I'm overwhelmed! Is it possible as a first timer to get this big project right and successful?

I have an Airbnb in Johanessburg South Africa 🇿🇦. It's going well however the biggest challenge I encounter weekly especially on weekends is noisy guests and it creates problems for my neighbours. Otherwise it is a good business.

Have you checked out noise monitors? Like, Minut?
@BrotherM197822 күн бұрын
@ThanksForVisiting no I haven't. I'll enquire about them.

I just watched your recommendation video about noiseaware. I'm going to order. I'll give feedback right here. Thank you so much 💓

Completely off topic but I need to know. How do you get the signature Airbnb chime that I heard in the video. I just started hosting again and the notification sound is a nearly inaudible pop.

It’s a sound effect available online! But you’re right! Airbnb changed its pinging sound and it’s much more subdued’
