We always enjoy seeing the trains. It is unbelievable of how many pints they make a day at the Jam and Relish Kitchen. Those miniature horses are precious. We need to check that out when we are in the area. We were blown away with how big Roots was when we stopped by. We always love riding around the beautiful countryside and seeing all things Amish. Great video! Love the way you put your videos together. You put lots of thought into them.

@@ElleLiving We are cool like that! 😎👍👊Have you ever been to the Wolf Sanctuary in Lititz? Carly is crazy about wolves and wondered if it would be something good to take her to.

sorry Dani, missed this one. great tips on stuff to do. great ideas for myself and mrs Jimmy. kids are on there own now and don’t make it there with us as much anymore. our new favorite thing to do is get in the car and drive down the back roads all day. we came across some really cool places by accident. going down next week. going to hang out in Lititz then head east to Manhiem and Ephrata. going to just drive around and see what we can see. hope to run into you and family one day. coffee and whoopie pies for everyone. my treat. best wishes. Jimmy and Laurie C.

Great job! Good balance on voice over and music. We want to go to the candle factory next visit, did not know it was there. Where is the goat area at Kitchen Kettle? I can relate to the old goats. Pro tip you had better have a good GPS on the back roads when you go site seeing it is very easy to get lost. One of our rules when we travel. If it's free it's for me. Thank you for all of your hard work.

Thanks, David 😊. When you pull into KKV off of 340 into the big parking lot, it is on the right side, opposite of the parking lot. There is also a little road/driveway that goes right by it that takes you to the Old Candle Barn. That goat yard is one of the more impressive ones bc there are so many structures for them to climb on 😃 And YES, I agree, you definitely need maps on the phone or an app to get out of Amish Country! But I enjoy just driving randomly then asking Siri to get me back to Rt 30 😆😆

I think Down on the Farm ice cream has goats and chickens. It’s on May Post office road south of Strasburg.

My wife and I are coming up this summer, can you give me some other things to do?
@ElleLiving Жыл бұрын
I have lots of videos of things to do but if it’s your first time I would definitely suggest some sort of Amish info tour - either through a place like Amish Farm & House or the Amish Village or a buggy tour or even eating at on Amish Farm. One of my favorite places to go is Old Windmill Farm which is a working Amish farm that offers various tours. It is such a wonderful experience! Dienners, Miller’s or Shady Maple for a smorgasbord. If you want an Amish run restaurant (not buffet), I recommend Katie’s Kitchen. I have a video on my channel called The Ultimate Guide to planning a Lancaster Amish Country stay and that has a ton of info in video and description 👍👍😊😊
