Feisty Forest was clearly losing, but just kept his cool, makes sure everything is nice and protected, he doesn't even hesitate to give up his queen while setting up his heist plan.

True, and as the analysis shows; he got lucky. Mr. Mike had it in the bag!

@@EzPz44 I felt sorry for Monster Mike. He was so close to beat Forest. It is questionable if he will ever get that chance again, since Forest will get stronger with each day. 😂

Gr8 play from the young one, busy talking, but remaining focussed, et viola, the blunder. Nice game to watch, salute both players.

What a great game! This kid is a natural military tactician; first Build up your enemy's false sense of security and confidence; next create a deadly trap as a "vulnerability" for him to exploit; and he he did; what a demo by Feisty forest! Keep them up!

@Merci Politely 👋 Peaceful perhaps but the trash can still be very potent. Monster Mike's trash talk is peaceful but it's also potent. So the peaceful demeanor and potency of the trash aren't mutually exclusive. 👍 👍 👍

@michael I don't like all the trash talk I hear from players on this channel...... and that's fine. Self deprecating trash talk is usually something I love to see because it tends to demonstrate a certain level of humbleness. Monster Mike shows that and even though it's self deprecating, that doesn't mean it can't be potent trash talk.

I'd love to see a re-match of these two........ it's very unfortunate that Monster Mike lost his queen in that way especially since he was so far ahead on the eval.

Monster Mike misses the long diagonal, backward move by Forest's bishop. (a common instance of chess blindness - or was there really a crack in Mike's glasses??).

Instead of "Fiesty Forest" they should call him "Fascinating Forest" because he surely hypnotized that guy into giving away his queen right after he had sacced his own queen earlier lol. I kind of wonder if the guy did it to make it more fair to Forest or if he just totally got sucked into the Forest Maze lol.

8:03 If you can pick up one rook why not go for both of them? Qxh4+, Kg1, Qxe1, Kh2, Qh4+, Kg1, Qxe7!!, Nxf8, Kxf8 and a queen vs. a bishop is a $6 profit for black and a sure win. I would almost classify this as windmill tactic since White's king responses are all forced and the rooks happen to be on the wrong squares. Yeah you have to put these kids away but blitz chess doesn't always produce the best play.

Forrest’s trash talking is improving… the cry to laughter was amazing
@LouisGedo
@LouisGedo Жыл бұрын
Yup......that had me cracking up hard because he did it with such clever intent! Like he could have just went in a second from 'tears' to laughter but he seemed to methodically draw it out just enough to potentially irritate an opponent. Truth be told, it doesn't seem to have worked on Monster Mike...... unless he concealed it very well. 👍
