110 Days in 66 Seconds - Jackfruit Time-lapse

I'm happy i was able to get my hands on some fresh jackfruit, its not really something you find in your regular grocery stores over here. Unfortunately this one does not go all the way to fruit, would take a bit too long :)

I have a jackfruit plant which I planted last year but when the jackfruit plant was like 100 days old I left it outside and then there was a heavy storm which overwatered the plant and it has stopped growing and now its still recovering since last year, the good thing is that new roots have grown but the bad news is that growth has slown down

This seed didn't need anything to help it sprout apparently, I wonder why some seeds need some extra steps.

Because that's how they'd germinate in the wild, some species evolved that way such as Kentucky coffeetree seeds which use to be eaten by giant sloths and mammoths who's stomach acid would eat through the seed coat and then poop out them.

Some need to be placed in the fridge or even freezer, because they only sprout after winter

@@onetothetwothreetothefour465 and mangoes are different from jackfruit, some species need extra steps like being put in warm water or extreme heat or drying out for a period of time before sprouting.

At harvest moon of that fruit many people will sick cause eating too much and it taste really good but that fruit contain gas that eating too much will lead to stomach pain 😂
