110 MPH Police Pursuit of Shooting Suspects Ends in Costa Mesa, CA

This morning, at about 1:05 a.m., deputies responded to the 25800 block of Via Lomas Street in reference to a report of gunshots being heard.
When deputies arrived, they discovered a 20-year-old Hispanic male suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was treated by Orange County Fire Authority and transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Deputies and Investigators utilized a variety of leads and were able to quickly identify the suspect vehicle in this incident.
At about 2:20 a.m., deputies in the city of Lake Forest located the subject vehicle and attempted to stop it. The vehicle fled the area and deputies pursued the subjects to the city of Costa Mesa, where both male occupants were arrested. Two loaded firearms were recovered during the arrest. The investigation is ongoing.

LA-OC.tv - A suspect was taken into custody following a high-speed pursuit on SB55 and Bristol Street early Thursday morning in the city of Costa Mesa.
The pursuit is believed to have started in the Laguna Woods area before heading North on I-405 at speeds of over 110 mph. After passing John Wayne Airport the driver headed onto SB55 toward Newport Beach.
The pursuit investigation is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
