There is two face of Indian cinema. First is Hindi language which previously was considered mainstream and regional language. As time passes Hindi cinema degraded, now even biggest movie in Hindi is nothing but compilation of memes or a chop suey of all other movie industries. While regional cinema evolved in to masterpieces. South is producing mind blowing movie and Gujarati , Marathi language movies getting on this race to produce a finer quality movies. I am an indo Fijian and I know for myself that India is rich in stories and folklore and with today's VFX stories can be made of Avengers or Avatars level but what Hindi cinema does is Adipurush or a expired lovevstory. There are Hindi smaller budget movies that are good but big budget projects are shit.
