Great stuff from AFTA, The Zenaq rods clearly do the job given you use them in all your video's and with some of the GT's you've caught a shit rod could well have broken. Duncan did a great job of explaining the technical side of the Zenaq rods. and the info on BK Hooks the other day was great

Impressive bend in those Sticks! I've always carried a heavy setup and a medium setup when walking and lure fishing from the rocks in the salt. To be honest I spend most of my time throwing the medium to light stuff. Heaving the heavy gets unpleasant quite quickly. Props to you for being tough enough to fish big and hard! Ya LEGEND!

Nothing wrong with being sponsored and it's all top of the range shit. So I would be super stoked as well. I can't stand some of the BS that comes out of other guys mouths (especially US Bass dudes) when there pushing the hard sell on shit. After trying out decent gear I'm slowly upgrading to less but better. It's just enjoyable to use and as you said hard to go back. I will have to give these a try that light weight Zenac for flats looked very very nice. I'm just scared I'll get hooked on em :)

Brilliant video Johnny, you nailed this one with Duncan! I watched Briggsy's trade show video yesterday and made the comment below which I think you absolutely captured in this video, well done! "Thanks for the vid briggys, great content as always. A suggestion I'd like to make would be when reviewing rods like the spartan for example, in addition to talking about the numbers pe-blah to pe-blah it would be good to see you load up a rod (preferably with a reel attached to it) just so people can actually gauge the parabolic bend and perhaps get an idea of the power. I know in the trade show you didn't have time, but in a similar vein to your casting video I reckon a load test on the rods would be a really good way to give people on the internet a bit of an idea on the rod. I know I'm a lazy c*nt so getting to the tackle store to check out a rod isn't worth my time unless I'm pretty keen on it from reviews and getting to know more from the comfort of my home."

Getting my hands on a Tobizo is a deadset life goal. One thing though is the fish head website says their store is only open by appointment might have been worth a mention. Still a great show of the zenaqs. Great to get you both talking about these rods at once.

How do they cast large lures can you cast 100 meters or more? fish fighting ability is one thing but you have to get the baits to the fish....I fish and live in the USA and cast long distance for king Salmon do you have any rods that would work for that type of fishing.....a surf rod in the 11-6 to 12-6 lengths?

I know you couldn't cover everything but would have loved to have seen and heard some info on the Expedition range as I fancy an EP83S. Travelling overseas with big tubes is a nightmare (loss, breakages, check-in BS, etc) there's not many decent travel rods out there and even less honest reviews or thoughts on them. The reason I bought my Zenaq Duro96HHH was because I watched your OG Morning Tide videos and I remember you talking about Zenaq being family run and the pride they take in their product. After having one for almost 8 months, I can honestly say its my favorite possession I own, period. I was super bummed, as u can imagine, when it broke fighting my second to last GT, 48 pounder. Been trying to contact them for weeks but no reply. Maybe you could hit them up for me? I just want to pay for the new bottom section or maybe upgrade to the Tobizo so I don't break another. yeah actually o think there is a big holiday now in Japan. totally different rod man. ur fishing land based? ive used the tobizo land based a bunch of times and its great, but always fishing areas where im at the water level with no swell. if swell and fishing from higher up id stick with a longer rod. muthos accura also great

@@JonnyBrooksFishing I always try to fish from level with the water, I don't use a gaff, so only grab the leader and tail. the only concern I have is casting distance. Swell in Hawaii is always a concern but probably stick to the Duro or maybe the Accura100HHH

Yeah they do mate. My lightest spin rod is the S0/70 wideshooter which i use for bream and bass around here. I believe there’s a few even lighter models also. Maybe shoot Duncan a msg, he will know a heap more than me.

Brooksy has been sponsoring them for free through out the ranges. So you're misguided and mistaken comment has no validity when literally all he's done is fish shimano up to this point - therefore almost anything he talks about having to do with the past will include a shimano reference.
