Off the point of north Carolina the gulf streem gets very crazy sometimes. Thats what I was thinking about. Most people go in south of that point and back out in Virginia or DC. Just keeps you a little safer.

Thank you for watching Joe. Well, it was during my time off from work, so I was able to stay on watch more than 12 hours a day. I set radar guard zones and AIS guard zones up on the plotter, and we took turns at night with both of us in the cockpit. One person sleeping and one person on watch. CUOTO

Okay, change can be good, Why not do a similar to what you have going on with the other site? 1 watchin' ahead, 1 watchin' astern, and a "floater" (not in the water), that you for some one else can move about to show what may (or not), be interesting, decide during edit. You have a proven formula, utilize what you need pare away what doesn't fit... As a sculptor chips away the bits that don't fit their mental image. Only a suggestion. Thank you for watching Dan. Almost. We ended up motoring almost 5 out of 6 days. I think it came in at $800 for 950 some miles motored (120 gallons). Certainly not the way I had hoped the trip would have worked out, but as mentioned before, we were way behind on time and needed the boat north for the insurance and because I was a week late for work. I suspect (and hope) that I will not buy fuel again until November. CUOTO
