How long do they last at that power?? I am assuming you need to have a shop with a lot of spare parts to keep something like that going?? And from what I have seen over the years.. I know the stock drivetrain isn't able to handle much more than 400/500 wheel and even then they break.. I have a neighbor with a 2017 STI (mint).. He has it built and tuned to a little over 400 wheel and even he admits he's close to it's limits.. Oh OK everything is fully Built because I was wondering how that transfer case was handling that power.. Oh and I prefer a Mustang DYNO too, over a DYNO Jet for real numbers'..

I also disagree a Forester is "way heavier" than a WRX or STI. WRX and FXT are both ~3200lbs so I'd say they're basically the same weight, but yes the Forester is like 30lbs heavier. Then the STI drivetrain adds about 200lbs on top of the 5MT/R160 setup. Sweet ride though - I love Forester XTs.

Example for me: work in a heavy duty truck shop.

Kind of dont like how the compressor outlet is clocked and how the hot side piping is routed, That 90* elbow is not doing any favors for boost efficiency. I like the low mount setups where all the piping is really straight and equal, and super efficient, but I've seen some nice custom rotated "stock location" turbo setups with piping that comes straight out into a between the headlights intercooler with nice ducting...anyways still pretty sweet in a full weight forester. I also don't like ams, cosworth, or most other custom intake manifolds...I the 2005 big plenum IM off the base impreza iirc flows the most over the widest powerband, surprisingly. Its always nice to see that uncommon but best setup in subaru
