I have this car (this type of engine) - peugeot 206 1.6 16V 80kW (110Hp) for 8 years, used it almost everyday and I must say it proudly, that is the most agile and quick small beast car I ever have. If you consider the weight of this car and the power of engine it is like you put only 10 kg on one horse - it is like nothing - the ride itself is a proof. 🙂

Congrats on the time, man! Best small engine ever! I have it in my Volvo S40 - revs high like a petrol and keeps friggin' pulling and coupled with that sweet focus chassis, gets in and out of corners swiftly and marvellously. Your vid really put a big smile on my face as seeing what this little thing can accomplish when coupled with an amazing pilot! :'D

I'm from Brazil, I really like the peugeot and the 206, the original runs very well, and this 206 runs perfectly well and you drive very well.

Did you consider putting bigger front calipers from 306?

No need when you don’t do engine mods. Good discs with Carbone Lorraine RC6 and you stop all underpowered car in the twinkling of an eye (XS calipers are the ones from the S16, so a 140hp car have the same calipers lol)

@@3.14Racing In my XS I've 306 calipers and with RC6 that was perfect combo. Now I'm testing ds3000 but they're worse imho. What do you have on rear? I'm using ds2500

⁠@@tomekderek I am using DS2500 at the rear as well, pretty cheap compared to the RC6, and as the original brake balance is fully on the front, the rear pads are not wearing that much

Tu5jp4, el motor chico mas robusto de la historia automotriz, el mio con 400.000 kilometros sigue acelerando como nuevo, es increíble y el mantenimiento es un chiste por lo barato y sencillo, distribución cada 70.000 y aceite, filtros cada 10.000, no pide mas nada, hiper sencillo, potente y durable

@@Torino380 Same, mine has 200.000 km and runs great. When I changed the rocker cover gasket, there was no sludge, the cams had no marks and looked brand new. It's now 22 years old and I plan on keeping it as long as possible and I wouldn't be surprised if it made it another 20 years
