I am going absolutely insane over this song I LOVE IT SO MUCH! Hal is so mischaracterized in mainstream media as people only see him as this 'pure evil AI who hates all humans' or something, when is reality he is much more complicated than that. But this song captures the more tragic angle of his character and its done so well! You can really feel that the artist actually cares about the 2001 series and has read the rest of this books, which can't be said with a lot of other media that try and reference 2001.There is a bunch of references that only people who have seen the rest of the series besides the first movie would get. Seriously this one song shows a better understanding of Hal's character then like.....most actual film analyses I've read. It's insane. Lasah just GETS it, y'know? Plus this song is just really good in general, even if you showed it to someone who's never watched 2001 they'd still like it because the lyrics can be interpreted in a bunch of different ways. And gosh the music video is just gorgeous! I need everyone in the 2001 fandom to see this immediately! And I will most definitely be checking some more of Lasah's music! "I'm waiting until we'll be one." screaming crying throwing up

Gosh, this song means so much to me. I first listened to it a few years ago and it has become a major comfort song for me. And I have only just now found the music video I know it's called "2 HAL 9000", but it truly sounds like HAL is singing to Dave about his regrets and desire to connect with some form of humanity that Dave has and then has transcended through. And the we'll be one line gives such Halman vibes and makes me so happy because now hal is no longer alone in both this song and in the books. Your composition gives such 2010 and 3001 vibes and I love this song to pieces. Arthur C. Clarke would absolutely love this song and the way you honored this fantastic character! Thank you so much for composing this.

Ayy mate, been coming to this video for every month and yet, there's no meaningful reach within the Numbers of Viewer. This is.... Quite Underrated considering how many people know Space Odyssey (well not in this day but ehh)
