I have always loved the sport-fish look before I knew what its purpose was all about ! Hatteras was my 1st & became my 1st love & was looking too it for a live aboard........>45 or 50 foot as it was what ya needed to deal with the seas in the GOM comfortably lol I guess. Anyway the style for me looking at it sitting at anchor or dock it is → sexy, sporty wave knife ha ha......thats just sitting lol But not so great looking to the fuel consumption but, well the + & -'s of choices right. I did the 190, 210ft boats for about 4-5 yrs so this 110 is a nice fit, maybe like a real nice fit especially from live aboard view. Ok thats all ha ha I enjoyed the mental pictures I created in my head while writing all that lmao /;^) LuV the water & the GOM [gulf of Mexico] just trolling or running AlwaysForward ~ Godspeed , brother !

Absolutely a amazing timeless super yacht luxury sport fisher. I’m curious as to the cruise speed/top speed, overall range & capacities, efficiency/maneuverability/reliability of the jet drives. I also wonder what the original main engines were, these 4000 series weren’t created yet back in 1990, perhaps still MTU’s though, the 396 series.

Is there really only 2 rooms? Seriously? Even a 61ft swift Trawler has 3 rooms. Great for entertaining, but not for sleeping over. And you need 6 crew for that?
@barryfields29643 жыл бұрын
4 guests, and 6 crew. I guess that’s important if you’re not use to whipping your own a$$.
@clifbradley3 жыл бұрын
@@barryfields2964 I guess you need a captain, chef, engineer, 2 deckhands for fishing duties and 1 stewardess. Since there are no water toys on board, I just assume the 2 deckhands run baits and get everything set up. I imagine this being a fishing charter vessel that probably makes the run from Ft. Lauderdale to the Bahamas or Bermuda, or maybe to the Keys and then to Cancun or maybe Costa Rica which is a thousand miles away since they have so much storage on board. Do a 7 or 8 day charter heading there and back, or do a weekend 3 day charter hitting the Bahamas and back. Maybe they just use it for taking out business partners and what not. Not the way I would have designed and used it, but to each their own.
@barryfields29643 жыл бұрын
@@clifbradley I’m not saying they don’t need 6 crew members, I’m just saying it would be nice to be able to bring along a couple/few more friends. I would want a tinder.
@clifbradley3 жыл бұрын
@@barryfields2964 Yeah, I agree 100%. I would want a tender and some Sea Doos. But a tender at minimum. Plus to be able to bring along family and friends. Unless you are just that rich you use it to escape your wife and bring along your kid and maybe his/her significant other. If I owned a yacht, I would want to be able to bring my kids, their girlfriends, some family, some friends. Do some fishing, playing in the water, sightseeing, relaxing and hanging out. Or maybe this was like what Post One was to Dorothea III. The 'chase boat' that took the owner fishing and the bigger yacht stayed behind. But at 34M. And with 6 crew and you only had 4 people on board...kind of not my style. That's why I say charter boat or business boat. I'll share a funny story if you want to read it. If not, no worries. I call it the 'You need a bigger boat and listening skills' I worked on a 75ft Viking that had 3 staterooms. We only chartered for no more than 6, maybe 7 if it was a couple with a small child. But no more. Primary shows up from Poland with 9 people. He's insisting the crew give up our bunks and sleep on the couches or the floor and him and his wife would take the master, his son and daughter in law in another cabin, then 3 other kids in a double bed and his friend and his wife sleep in the crew room. Like no. He was insisting it. He just gets on the boat and starts telling people where they are going to sleep and he was the only one that spoke passable English. So everyone is following him like he knows where he is going.. The captain is telling him No and telling people to get off the boat and these people just started unpacking and the husband and wife in the crew bunk, are taking mine and the captain's stuff out of the closet. I'm dealing with them. Telling them to leave my stuff alone and the wife looks at me like I'm crazy. So we had to call the owner, who called the charter company and she said she knew something like that would happen. He wanted a boat for all of them but didn't want to pay for it so he looked up how many people could sleep inside the smallest boat possible and booked that. He didn't account that there was a crew cabin and those beds were for crew. Or that not every Viking is laid out the same.This boat had another crew cabin down below where the chef if they wanted one and a stew would go. This guy wanted no chef. No stew. Their provision list was basic as could be too. He was cheap. Technically we could have slept down there, but no. Charter is for 6 guests only.. So the charter agent calls the guy and he refuses to answer the phone. So she calls the captain and we put her on speaker. The guy is refusing to listen and starts pushing the captain towards the stairs to the wheelhouse. He's like 'We go, we go now. I paid and you take me. Go go go' Finally the charter agent is screaming over the speaker at the guy, his kids and guests are acting like the boat is theirs and start going through things, getting drinks, and just plopping down having a conversation and laughing about it. We weren't laughing at all. Finally got him off. Cops came. Before the cops came, we got him off the boat and then he called the charter agent. Now he's pissed we kicked him off. So then he wants a refund. He walks away and walks onto some other yacht, like a 115 Benetti I think and just walks on board like he owns the boat. Starts asking the crew how much to rent the boat. They kick him off. He goes to another boat. And does the same shit! He was a freaking trip. Cops show up, they all get their stuff off the boat. He walks along the dock and he sees a boat with a Polish flag on it. Some 85 foot boat that was a liveaboard. He goes insane with joy. He is certain this boat is going to take him out to sea. I think he finally convinced the guy to take them out, but we left and came back the next day and the boat was back so I don't know what happened and the people that lived on the other boat never talked to us. That was one of the weirdest trips ever. It was like he was clueless.

it's funny that this monster boat has more sleeping accommodations for crew than guests! a boat that size should have at least 4 guest state rooms if not 5! wuddup wit dat??
@DenisonYachting Жыл бұрын
To our knowledge she used to have 4 until a previous owner converted the guest accommodations to a galley!

Beautiful yacht, but you should have had to edit the engine smoke part at 7:10 out.

This is an amazing boat and the mechanical technology Is superb. but the vessel is obviously built for someone who doesn't mind blowing a fortune on fuel for an upgraded party barge.

That looks exactly like it was previously the "Sea Eagle" owned by now disgraced billionaire Allen Stanford, It still has the Stanford logo on the side of the fly bridge.

I would suggest to drain the hottub before blasting through the waves,lol.Also Jacuzzi is a brand name not the actual name of the product unless the brand is Jacuzzi.

Looks a Jacuzzi 325 to this former dealer. No use trying to correct people unless you also correct everyone who calls a tissue a "Kleenex". Didn't look like it was splashing too much under way. I suspect Captain knows what's up.
