Syken was lucky with the position of the objective; that map is always the same with the objective in that room, but the position in the room is not the same and it is not always possible to hack through the hole in the wall. Nice mission.

I've been subscribed to you for years and I can't believe you haven't cracked 10k subscribers. Do you think it is because of the lack of editing? Advertising? Or the XCOM community just too small?

The overall xcom community is like 30-45k people, that includes all of the reddits together. It is not an online game and unless you have a breakthrough like ChristopherOdd, very few content creators in the space gain more than a few hundred subscribers. Would xcom3 come out or this being a game that is more in demand, then the numbers would be 100x of the ones that you currently see. If you look at twitch, xcom1+2+long war together at any time typically pull between 20 and 50 viewers (unless a really big streamer takes it on an off-day). So with that context, I am very blessed to have 500-1500 people watching each of my videos, which is great.

@@JamesDeanStudiesLanguage Yes, but you can certainly not make a living off of it. I could do a better job in offering merchandise and a dedicated discord server, but all this takes even more time to organize. I started this as a hobby and for fun and everything else is a bonus. If you want to make money from youtube, the easiest way is to follow one of the established trends and copy/modify a system that works for another channel (i.e. manosphere content at the moment).
