I think Beterbiev won tbh, I think 7-5 was fair...it was a very close fight, I think next time Beterbiev KOs him next time, Bivol is amazing and his boxing really was beautiful to watch, and I'm not really sure how Beterbiev managed it but he did on the night and its unfair that now he has to have a rematch, I think judging should be less objective, there should be actual qualifying aspects to boxing, like head shots landed and body shots landed should all be scored and that should actually matter, judges should not be allowed to just choose what they like on the night

The best man won Eddie.... Showed willingness to engage, took punches which he was going to as the aggressor but kept coming forward to land his own. Bivol had a sneaky game plan, running away and looking for a flurry of shots with 10 seconds remaining or as soon as Beterbiev punched he'd be open as every fighter is when they've committed.

Until round 9, I've seen bivol wining at least 6 rounds. He moved better, connecter cleaner punches and neutralized Arthur's aggression. Then he gassed out. A draw would have been fairer, so both of them kept their belts. Rematch has to happen anyways

Beterbiev won it for me....Eddie says he thought it wad 8-4 Bivol which is equally as ridiculous as the scorecard he's complaining about. Beterbiev pressed the action and was the ring general throughout...in swing rounds you cant complain about round being given to the aggessor. Bivol didnt do enough in the championship rounds and if youre going to box your way to victory against a guy as aggessive as Bet then you need to be clearly taking rounds....other than the opening rounds he wasnt, Bet fought back into the fight and took over toward the end. If you give Bet 11 and 12 then Eddie only saw 2 rounds for Bet in the 10 previous...no way.

Heavy bias = Eddie Hearn Always complains when his boxers loses close fights (Crawford beat Madrimov). And not a single word when his corrupt judges really rob fighters (ex : Yvan Mendy vs Campbell 1) A close fight, not a robbery. Beterbiev ring generalship made the différence. Could have gone either way.

Arthur outlanded bivol in most of the rounds. On top of that he carried the action in all but the first 2 rounds, so in most of the close rounds I gave it to AB for carrying the fight, I don;t award close rounds for people who have a few great punches then run away for the majority of the round

​@@gredax I am more real of a boxing fan than you will ever be, and that's why I can appreciate both aggressiveness and technicality. Bivol outboxed Beterbiev, and that's the truth. Beterbiev was nullified by Bivol's movement and elusiveness, and he could not land anything of consequence. Bivol controlled him with the jab and hurt him more than once. You don't take rounds by letting off flurries at the end after getting boxed up for all of it beforehand, and they were mostly blocked anyway. To not appreciate Bivol is to not appreciate boxing itself. He should be the undisputed champion right now.

Bivol said that Beterbiev didn’t Use his full force, imagine if he did 😬 Bivol has the best jab in boxing now and Beterbiev took it away plus Beterbiev jab took an affect of the fight when it most counted, therefore I believe Beterbiev had the best jab. Bivols amazing. Great talent BUT he needs to get his power up more to keep Beterbiev off him in a rematch more. He needs to load his gloves with little hand weights and uses that all camp so his gloves are heavy making him throw faster and harder when he goes back to normal gloves.

The judges weren't scoring the aggressor, they were scoring the damage. People assume because Bivol took most of the punches on the gloves and forearms that he wasn't getting hit. Beterbiev punched *through* Bivol's guard. Those were damaging shots.

Me personally, I watched the fight live and since then I have watched it back twice and I am unable to change my scoring of 7 rounds Bivol - 5 Beterbiev. The one thing I will say is that Bivol did not seem to dance in and out as he normally does - I hardly can see any of that. But it may be that he was unable to fight his normal way due to Beterbiev's constant pressure, I don't know.
