Many thanks to the author of the channel for the content! The whole fight between Beterbiev and Bivol was held in a forceful manner. Both boxers were attentive to their opponent's punches, as they realized that missing one accentuated punch could lead to a knockout. Beterbiev after the first three rounds of the attempt to work on technique began to press, throwing out his powerful punches. However, he was unable to lock onto Bivol and knock him out as he had done with all of his previous opponents. Bivol was constantly shifting Biterbiev's aim, defending with his block and shifting from side to side, preventing him from landing a series of knockout punches. The center of the ring remained behind Biterbiev most of the time. In this fight we did not see the famous element of movement from the Soviet style of boxing - shuttle kick, performed by Dmitry Bivol. The use of the shuttle is suitable in amateur boxing, where 3 rounds, as well as in work with a boxer-player or slow-moving opponent. Bivol used the defense with a block and a trip takedown to the side. Countered Beterbiev with counter power work. We didn't see any spurts of concussive strikes from Beterbiev in this fight. We can discuss a lot about who won this fight. I will say that the fight was very competitive. Both opponents were strong both physically and technically. Nobody fell in the ring. We all saw this exciting fight. Beterbiev showed that he has the right to be the winner, and Bivol proved that he is unbeatable. Before the fight I gave 30% that Beterbiev would win by knockout and 70% that Bivol would win on points. The result of the fight surprised me - Beterbiev won a judges' decision for the first time in his professional career. I was also surprised by Bivol's hard power style of fighting, which started to take shape since his fight with Canelo Saul Alvarez. Bivol's feet became more stocky, minimal use of the shuttle. Dmitry Bivol proved himself in exchanging hard punches with Beterbiev. We saw the athletic power of the athletes. I think everyone will learn a lesson from this fight. Personally, I was once again convinced that cardio and physical endurance are an important component for a boxer. Recently I have added to my training the recommendations from the practical manual “400 Boxing Combinations” by Yuriy Ivantsiv. This manual contains training schemes, how to develop stamina, physical strength, to work out skills of close combat, middle and long distance fighting, to work out a knockout punch and a series of power punches in non-stop mode through practicing boxing combinations. Every time I finish practicing 10 rounds on the bag, I realize that these are the unforgettable sensations I was missing in the training process. As a result - my endurance has improved, during sparring I don't have a fleeting confusion about which series of punches to throw. I understand what blows my sparring partner is going to deliver, so I have time to defend and counterattack. After a month of training on the methodology “400 Boxing Combinations” I managed to diversify my combinatorial punching technique. Finally, I would like to recommend everyone to subscribe to this channel. It puts out useful content for all boxing fans! I wish you all success and good luck!

I think Whittaker is similar to Josh Kelly in that much of what he was doing he was able to do on the way up. But as he goes up and competition gets more intense, the test is whether he can carry on doing that or whether he gets his armour pierced. Let's see what the future holds and whether he goes the way of Josh Kelly or if he can transcend that.

Chris was playing. He had not boxed for a year. After seeing what he could do in the first round, he took the foot of the pedal and started playing. We saw rust. It will now help him to tighten up for the next fight.

Dazn commentary was so biased that I had to put music on the side to not hear them , it was close fight but I had Beterbiev 7-5, better power shots and amazing pressure never backing from the fight plus good defense, only got hit nicely around 2/3 times in a 12 round fight

People are obsessed with the judges score cards in this era, That was the best v the best at 175 by a mile, close looking fight by 2 technically brilliant boxers, but ask your self this who would you rather be at the end of the 12 rounds, I thought Beterbiev was starting to take control and Bivol was slowing and getting hurt by that constant pressure in the last two rounds, no robbery for me the right man won.

Pawel kadynski who give 116-112 was the judge who judge in some bivol fights, include vs malik zinad, gilberto ramirez and joe smiths jr.. i think the judges do the job very well..its subjective but i think beterbiev won is very reasonable.. because its different watching ringside and watching on tv.. compubox also give tight decision and so many reason beterbiev thrown and land more punches than bivol. Good job for both of beterbiev and bivol, both of the are the greatest

I had Bivol winning but I must add my frustration at Bivol in the last two rounds. De La Hoya threw away the last 2 against Trinidad and lost a decision and Dmitri took his foot off the peddle too. Looking at it another way though, he had put so much incredible work in between 1 and 10 that he must have been running on empty for those last 6 minutes. I still felt Bivol won regardless.

Timothy Bradley put it well. He said the 3 judges between them scored a total of 36 rounds with only a discrepancy of 2 rounds between the 3 of them which meant they were very consistent with the scoring for Beterbiev vs Bivol.

Beterbiev put soo much pressure on bivol and took all his best shots and he barely looked phased, bivol simply couldnt afford to take any of beterbievs shots. Everyone saying shots on gloves dont matter are just fucking insane. Those shots hurt, and it was pretty evident last few rounds bivol was on survival mode.
@Martin1993203 ай бұрын
Bivol beat Beterbiev in round 12, the only thing Bivol was drained from was his self running backwards and around the ring, it wasn't Artur punches that did it, but the pressure was a reason. I still have it to Bivol . Bivol 1-3, 6,8,10 and 12.

This fight did not need hype, with the lack of banter between beterbiev and bivol and all the shenanigans that goes with fight week , everyone knew the calibre of both men and what to expect and it delivered. Some fights need a circus , some don't. Before the fight people where split on who wins . And it seems it's the same after aswell. Picked beterbiev but can see reasons for bivol .if it went to bivol so be it. Thats how close this fight was . Either man could of got the nod . Go again I'd say . Great fight. War-dley creepin on a come up , great win from him on to bigger challenges.
