Bill IMHO is the best white guy to ever sing like a black guy. Go listen the the two solo Champlin Albums: Single and Runaway.

What a wonderful interview. Tom, you perhaps should have also asked Bill about the album prior to Runaway, called Single. The ballad We Both Tried and Elayne underlines what Bill said about singing emotionally. What Good Is Love, Love Is Forever and I Don't Want You Anymore are the most amazing funk tracks ever. Please check them out!!
