Thank you David. I didn't go for the bigger patterns until I got that brown stag bone Jumbo Trapper. Once you hold one, it's hard not to like how it feels, like you could carve up a moose with it.

Looks decent, for less than $20. I am glad to see people showing low cost knives still can still cut stuff. If people can get over where its made and the laughter of carrying 440a,(or d2) they will have a good looking knife. Most people today want a axis, tri ad, or other super duty lock and instant opening blades, made of m390, but we all love our slippies. To each, I suppose. Great video. Thanks.

Thank you Henry Hill. There are plenty of decent knives out there. Like you said, to each his own. I enjoy getting a new knife in, and inexpensive knives make that possible.

Hello William. A great alternative to a good but pricey knife. Love both blade shapes on that Jumbo trapper. I may have to spend some money now. And you know how i hate doing that. Lol. All the best, stay safe.

Thank you Rhino. I'd like to see them expand their D2 & micarta line to more traditional patterns like a Canoe, Doctor's knife, Whittler, Camp Knife, etc. I would buy every one of them, sooner or later. In a way it's a great time to be a knife lover, if money is no object. So many great choices out there, and more popping up every day. I'm not complaining 😃

I just saw this video now, but I have the D2 Sowbelly and it might be one of the most perfect knives I own. How they can do that for less than $20 USD I can’t imagine.

Pity the weak nail pull, my sowbelly has about 8 ,duh. You're closer to completion, one trapper shy. Maybe one day I'll buy trapper and customize that long spay blade into fully serrated , ala "carnivore jack".

That would make for an interesting knife. The good thing about Rough Ryder's is you can do knife mods and not loose too much money if it goes bad. My attempts at making serrations on a blade would not be a success, I would guess. 😄
