The Church (believers) gather in churches (house of prayer/worship) to celebrate the Holy Mass where the Liturgy of the Word comes together with the Liturgy of the Eucharist. (Luke 22 : 17-20)
The apostles did what Jesus said.
On the first day of the week, when we met to break bread... (Acts 20 : 7)
... Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life... (John 6:53-57)

The household of God, the church of the living God, is the pillar and foundation of the truth. (1 Tim 3:15)
Catholic Church means Universal Church.
... 'My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations'... (Mark 11:17, Isa 56:7)
Jesus have many apostles, but the "keys of the kingdom of heaven" was only given to St. Peter.
Apostle Peter is the first pope of the Catholic Church. The bishop of Rome (pope) is the successor of Peter.
(Mat 16:8, John 21:15-17, Rom 1:7, 1 Pet 1:16)
"...Simon... I tell you, you are Rock (Peter), and on this rock I will build my church, and the power of death shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." (Mat 16:17-19)
The world's other bishops are the successors of the apostles of Jesus.
(2 Tim 2:2, Luke 10:16, 1 Tim 3:1-7, Acts 14:23).
The Bible ( the canon of Scripture) was finally settled by the Catholic bishops at the Council of Rome (382), and was reaffirmed at the Councils of Hippo (393) and Carthage (397, 419).
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,... remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Mat 28:19-20)
The Church (people) gather in churches (buildings) to celebrate the Eucharist. Jesus Christ said to do it in memory of him. (Luke 22 : 17-20)
During the celebration of the Eucharist, the bread and wine become the body and blood of Christ. The transformed bread and wine are not merely symbols because they truly are the body and blood of Christ. The Lord himself said 'this is my body', not 'this is the symbol of my body.'
(1 Cor. 10:16-17, 11:23-29; John 6:32-71)
... Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life... (John 6:53-57)
The apostles did what Jesus said.
On the first day of the week, when we met to break bread...(Acts 20 : 7)
Thank you God for all the blessings!
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holey Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, for ever and ever. Amen.
It is God who grants our prayers. We ask the angels and the saints to pray for us to Jesus CHrist, the one mediator between God and human race. (1 Tim 2:5, Rev 5:8, Rev 8:3-4)
... Pray for one another... The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective. (James 5:16)
The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is God of the living.
(Mark 12:26-27, Luke 20:37-38)
All the angels and saints in heaven, pray for us.
Blessed Virgin Mary, pray for us.
May God bless us always, in Jesus Christ name our Lord, Amen.
