Beautiful teaching! I love the idea of Psalm 1 as the gatekeeper of the literary sanctuary. Sometimes I write scriptures for people (often comfort from the psalms) to encourage those who are not yet walking in His ways and now the Father has me rethinking that. His Word is precious and we don't get to pick and choose

Therefore choose life, is a God's commandment. Therefore we have no really choice.
@waynekranz78133 жыл бұрын
Oh its still a choice. You would think its the most obvious choice. We are even given Yah’s inside tip; “Now choose Life!”, but how few actually continue in making that their choice?
@radostinvasilev5993 жыл бұрын
@@waynekranz7813 God doesn't give tips. If he said choose life that's a commandment. There's no choice if you know the reality that otherwise you will die. You may not choose life only if you are deceived. Who will choose death and why?
@waynekranz78133 жыл бұрын
@Radostin Vasiley A commandment does not remove choice. A solider can carry out a lawful command or face being charged, (rarely a good idea to exercise the free will to be insubordinate), a citizen can abide by a civil statute or face prosecution (yet people opt for disorder daily), we can make Yah our Elohim and do Yah’s will, or become an outlaw separated from the intended blessings, but read the passage again… we have set before us two OPTIONS 1) Life Good or 2) Death Bad - now וּבָֽחַרְתָּ֙ CHOOSE Life! Given these two options to choose from, the commandment to select turning to Life, is the best insider tip we can ever heed. Pass it on - share the tip! Clearly we see evidence that a majority of people do not choose life, I suppose you are right, even if they wilfully decide not to choice Life, there is self deception involved in sticking to that choice.
@radostinvasilev5993 жыл бұрын
@@waynekranz7813 all good, i don't agree it's a tip. It's commandment, the same as love god and love your neighbor, otherwise you will die. Don't eat of the tree of knowledge otherwise you will die. Choice leads to death , as it requires knowledge. Obedience leads to life, as it requires faith.
@waynekranz78133 жыл бұрын
@@radostinvasilev599 Absolutely it’s a commandment. I don’t wish to diminish the weight of that instruction in anyway. But I can’t unsee a clear urging guidance of which one, of two choices Yah points us to. Yah wants us to get the choice right. Yah tells us how to make Yah our Elohim. How much better example of the definition of a tip in Torah do we have?

Wearing of tassels or fringes is not a thing for those that follow the messiah, it was written in to our inward parts as the garments could not help Israel remember.

Isaiah 1 10 Hear the word of the Lord, you rulers of Sodom; listen to the instruction of our God, you people of Gomorrah! 11 “The multitude of your sacrifices- what are they to me?” says the Lord. “I have more than enough of burnt offerings, of rams and the fat of fattened animals; I have no pleasure in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats. 12 When you come to appear before me, who has asked this of you, this trampling of my courts? 13 Stop bringing meaningless offerings! Your incense is detestable to me. New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations- I cannot bear your worthless assemblies. 14 Your New Moon feasts and your appointed festivals I hate with all my being. They have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them. 15 When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide my eyes from you; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood! Revelation 11 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them. 8 Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city-which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt-where also their Lord was crucified. Psalm 35 16 With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth. He knows those who are his and these who are not
