Yes! The god of Digimon World has returned! I knew about the 2 versions of dynamite kick... but i didn’t think that it could lock you out of the tech medal, lol. Good stuff as always, Geta! Love me some Digimon World vids

That is pure insanity. No wonder players who were medal hunting were slowly going insane. No one would have guessed that by mere cursory examination of the moves that wild Digimon use. I would also submit that other weirdness occurs for wild Digimon, like how Tankmon has a glitched attack that does nothing. I think it's because they have Spit fire equipped wrongly in the slot meant for Prominence Beam, or so I read somewhere, a while ago.

Huh. I knew about the existence of TWO versions of both Dynamite Kick and Horizontal Kick and that they cound doubly for the tech required bonus condition, but I never expected that there are... so many issues. It's very interesting (and also it makes sense) that only Centarumon, Unimon and SkullGreymon can learn the tech from ShimaUnimon/SkullGreymon (and that they can't learn it from "normal" Dynamite Kick users. ...by the way, do you know what the EXACT difference between Horiziontal Kick is? They have the same animation time and range... it puzzles me WHY they made two separate versions.

Maybe they intended for Numemon's version to be different and they didn't actually change it so it's just left as a straight up copy. I can't see any difference at all. The fact that the technique medal only checks for the Dynamite Kick copy and ignores the Horizontal Kick copy suggests it might have been a very late addition. It's the technique with the final ID number as well, so I was the last regular move added other than the finishers which are stored further behind the moves.

Thanks for confirming what I thought. I wasted ~30 minutes trying to compare both of them and finding no differences at ALL. It's quite interesting that its copy is the last technique (not counting the finishers) , you're probably right about them not finishing it and just leaving it in. Too bad. The concept of "alternative versions" of techniques is really cool and I wish that they would expand on it if there ever will be another Digimon World.

Oooooooooooooooh so that's why it took me hours to learn this move with Centarumon whereas others move got learned pretty quickly.

Very interesting! Are the 2 dynamite kicks the same speed? I didn't know about this before but as a kid It always felt like Centarumon and Unimon had a slower dynamite kick. Could have just been me imagining things though.

Correct weight, correct amount of mistakes and 30+ techniques. I only had 28 techniques in the menu, but since Horizontal Kick and Dynamite Kick count as two as explained, they counted as if I had 30.

Thanks for information , that answer my problem , i try manipulate dynamite kick from brain train with Skull but never learn it , i think my step was wrong or something , try more than fifty limes lol , so its not my step but there is bug
