I like the way you attached the small ring to the two picots. It seems to make that sturdier. The collar is coming along nicely!

I have a question about tatting. As you work your rounds, yours always lay flat and are quite uniform. (I watch in awe) I am working a doily, and find I have to iron it. Do you have any secrets on how your rounds are never unruly? I am finishing a doily and the last edge just needs help? I would like advice as I am going to start a monster doily soon. I would like to tame the monster in the doily, ha! Thank you for what you do!

Hello, thank you for your comment, you are very kind but I'll have to be honest and admit that my rounds do not "always" lay nice and flat. Some patterns sometime just don't work out as neatly and it has happened to me on several occasions that there was some "frilling" when working doilies. When that happens, yes, I do resort to a quick burst of steam from an iron (sorry to have to reveal I'm not perfect after all!) 😊 Other times, I will adjust stitch count if necessary. If you are talking about the monster doily by Jan Stawasz, I have made many of his designs and, for me, they always work perfectly and always lay nicely flat without any help. So I hope that will be the case for you too!

Hola. Disculpa no podrías poner una foto del collar terminado para saber como empezar y terminar cada vuelta del collar porque estoy viendo que es ligeramente diferente a la carpeta. Te lo agradecería muchísimo.
