Russy, if we get Joan, from Flem, he.. am afraid to say, he will be better than Bowen. I watch plenty South American footy & this lad is very good. Can't understand how, if we do, we pulled this one off.

I've been reading what fans have been saying about him, thanks to google translate. He sounds similar to Bowen, all be it not a lefty. A lot of compliments regarding his work rate, alongside the attacking aspect of his game.

100%. I said this. And empower the manager aswell. Will be different for the manager looking on the bench and seeing the faces of players who can impact the game rather than Ings and Cornet's sorry asses. People need to realize that we lost Fornals and Benhrama so we need to replace those profiles in the squad, though with actual genuine pace and athleticism. Seems like the strategy may be volume when it comes to attacking players.

We may still as there are some stories that any deal for Wesley is getting complicated due to people moving the goalposts. I suspect we are looking at bringing in at least 2 more wide players

@garino881 rumour is Corinthians won't sell Wesley until the end of the Brazilian league which ends in January.... some are saying we are looking at a deal to sign him now but he stays in Braxil till then, personally I'd love Jota silva...serious goal threat who can play anywhere across the attacking positions

Agree, 26 is too old to be trying to make the transition from Brazil to Europe imo by & we shouldn’t be looking at square pegs in round holes & converting him to play on the left.

It would be good to have two Prem standard players in each position. We’re strongly linked with at least three right-footed wingers, so I guess whether we will sign one or two depends on whether J-Lo fancies Benny. If Benny goes, I think we need two. Two from Jota, Jhon and Wesley would be great!

No idea - I'm not assuming we're not going in for CBs etc, but these are the ones which seem to be 'landing' at the moment - suppose we can then concentrate on other departments afterwards...
