8th was the first edition to reset everything with indexes. There was some overlap from 6th to 7th. Also some from 8th to 9th. Reset again with 10th.

I can't imagine the complete hell storm and confusion they would cause for the more casual people joining in thanks to space marines 2 by dropping a new edition right now or very soon. I just think if there was a chance at convincing video gamers to atleast try out the tabletop or buy a lot of models they don't want to throw out a possibility of "don't buy it yet we are changing it again" and essentially make them lose interest and forget.

The noise marines will just get a kit like berserkers, rubrics, and plague marines. No other god specific legion has a legionaire equivalent. They'll likely get a teeminator option/eightbound equivalent plus some chaff/cultist unit. Fulgrim in plastic im sure. New lucious probably. Probably other new characters because gw loves throwing out characters
