While testing the car in a wind tunnel the side pods flexed down toward the floor and they seen a huge increase in down force VIA ground effect. They ended up installing floating side skirts that sealed the under side of the race car to the ground. For over a year know one noticed because every one was so focused on what was under the towel over the rear end🤣 it was a great exercise of camouflage and diss information

Cool tip for ceramic brakes: While you are cruising down the pit lane, sqeeze the brake pedal gently until the discs heat up, and the brakes start to grip. While doing it in low speeds, it takes shorter time to heat the discs, due to lack of air flow. Now you'll have warmer brakes in the first corner. If you just brake hard until they grip, you wear the assembly prematurely and unevenly.
