At the end of group B, the engineers from audi tested a Quattro with a 1000hp. Was never used because 2 reasons ; undriveable and the cancelation of the championship. This was back in the 80's. Imagine if they had no rules today.. 😜

Group B are arround and still driven in Europe in 2018-2019 Rally Legends, Rallye Effel and other opening or closing WRC rallies events or on special locations like : Tour de Corse, San Remo.. etc.. So, after Group-B championsip season would end in 84-85 (as "mitchiegxxr350" already mentioned ) the next year 86-87 suppose to follow the Group-S with so many powerful secret prototypes cars like : Audi Sport Quattro Group S, Peugeot 405 T16 & Peugeot Quasar, Lancia ECV1 & ECV2, Toyota MR2-222D, Opel Kadett 4x4 4S, Lada Samara EVA S-Proto, Mazda RX7S and Seat Bimoto.. (these exist as one-off's, fully build in secret or functional : Audi Sport Quattro S, ECV1 & Toyota MR2-222D or unfinished -Quasar, ECV2, RX7S since all are prototypes are usually closed up-in display or inside, each prototype to brand they belong's museums (but back on the 85 i read some motorsport magazines articles that were rumors for other brands that intended to enter in the Group-S BMW M 1 pro-car, Ferrari 288 GTO - ABARTH - Alfa and Renault with something created by Alpine (based on A310 probably).. shame the whole thing got cancelled because lots of deaths drivers and people spectators.. otherwise we would be quite astonished today indeed as we are today seeing those prototypes what could have been !

This is definitely a Travis car. Full send on the ground and Air. I was in my last few years of racing motocross when he started racing Pro. We both had very similar wide open riding styles. But he was a lot better at it. Really cool guy. Wish him the best.

Really love the explanation towards the process of how the car is going to suit Travis' style for this Gymkhana. Growing up, always a blast watching Ken's Gymkhana over the years, especially his commitment to the accuracy of his driving based on his rally racing background, like the spinoff Climbkhana and Terrakhana. Great to see Travis' taking a different approach, huge call back to his MotoX with all the tricks and jumps but still keeping some of the old standard Gym stuff from the trailer that I can see. But one thing that I love about both Ken and Travis, is that they both love to push the engineering of these cars to the max, all do these crazy stunts that literally will blow my head away. December 8th can't come soon enough.

6:24 this kind of reminds of a car versions of a brake tap. In moto if your front wheel is up pull in the clutch and tap the rear brake then the gyro of the rear will stop and the front will come down. With a car however that takes a lot of maneuver, glad that Pastrana is taking his skills from moto and translating it to rally. This is going to be a sick gymkhana when it release's 🤘
