You do realise the day you buy a shiny new tractor will be the day the council come along and resurface the road and make it as smooth as a babies bottom!! 😆 🤣 Enjoying seeing all the different tractors, and hearing about the good and not so good parts about them. Going by your initial reactions, (it could just be the way the video is edited, or the just the fact it was first), the New Holland seem to give you the most joy and ease of use. Obviously money talks, and comfort comes a close second, but that's how I've viewed it so far. Keep up the good work, look forward to the next one 👍

Here's a little trick i learnt, most tractors will lift a few more inches using the the Fender Buttons! if that happens again try the buttons on the side. May i also add that most people that have them on demos will most likely have trailers empty when hitching on and off. you have a trailer of bales there that just might hold that hitch a fraction lower than what the dealership had set her up to be! as you said in the video they can stretch and its bound to happen at some point. couple of turns with a spanner on them lift arm ends and she will be right as rain! but yes try the fender buttons! Love the vids Ian! Look after yourself!

Hello from the Netherlands maybe it helps if you drive forwards and backwards and brake with the tractor WITHOUT the trailer brakes connected. especially pushing backwards against the weight of the trailer can help well I know from experience. so here in the Netherlands I drove with two tractor-trailers behind the tractor with potatoes to a wholesaler and I always had to couple it first with the tractor and trailer to trailer without the brakes being connected otherwise they would not normally connect properly. and without putting the brakes in forward and then in reverse again was enough to lock right thanks for the video. Hi Ian, Must be strange trying out someone else's tractors, don't know if I'd fancy that not that I would want to damage a demo one either. When Case 125 arrived you checked if the snow plough hitch could be swapped over, what about all the other tractors you tested or is that in a new one in the deal???? It's nice knowing where everything is, but you will soon get used to a different one, I used to jump from one make of plant to another and even ones of the same make could feel different. But the Case has a nicer steering wheel than the boy racer MF one. Your thinking about the grass and passing bales onto someone in need is great and I'm 99% sure who you have in mind. That's what good mates are for. Stay safe and cool, it's 07.30 and 28c with a nice breeze rained a bit overnight here.

Hello Farmer P 😊... So, as I understand it, the Case cab is higher than the Massey and NH T5. In which case you will be able to see over the top of hedges and see the lady of the house mowing her lawn in a bikini 👙 🤔😀. There were two different sounds whilst you were driving. One seemed to be when you needed to change down or up a gear. The other, a pinging sound (like you get in a plane cockpit)... Possible warning sound for? 🤔. Apart from the hitch problem, you seemed very happy. Definitely more at home in the cab which makes sense since very similar to your own Case. 👍. I was a bit concerned with Biskit running around your Dad's barn with the gates open. I worry about her sighting a rabbit making straight for the road. Would Biskit follow it through the open gate? 😱😲 Thanks for the video, Farmer P 👍😊. Take care and hug for Biskit 🤗 🐶 ❤️

The more I see those UK hitches in action, the less I like ehm. Over here in the Netherlands we have in height (manual) adjustable hitches, either with a pin or selflocking like on HGV's (rigids with trailer style). And most tractors these days have a "kipperknobbel". All of these look way heavier built and less moving parts (which is a + to me). Only thing we have to do is turn up a noseweheel, but as we have to put in brakelines and lights anyway.. But the salesman said it was a 4cyl on a 6cyl wheelbase, does something for the comfort we see.

@roba42972 жыл бұрын
Is the hitch down to the PDI not being thorough enough , or a common blue/red dreadful design of one of most basic function requirements of a tractor ??? It would appear to be down to a shared design as the tractors are supplied from different countries. Shocking !!! A less vigilant operator would have been off down the road. Your average Joe would have more confidence hitching a caravan to his car once or twice a YEAR, not needing to hitch up several times a WEEK. A win - win for the 5S, and less obstructed view over the bonnet.
