These are cheap computers. I have a Chuwi Ubook X 12" with the same stylus. After a while Win 11 got slow, so I tried some Linux distributions that worked great. You do need to know a little Linux because the sound needs tweaking to get working. Like in Debain I had to tweak the sound to come out of the speakers and headphone port. It was some GUI tweaking, nothing major, like having to use a terminal. In Ubuntu it all worked out of the box. Now I have FydeOS (a Chrome OS) since I like Android too, and it all works except for the sound. On the go I need to use Bluetooth to have sound, it works great. In desktop mode, to get sound, my monitor has a headphone port, and the sound comes out of that just fine. What is also great about some of the Chuwi tablet products is that on mine I just learned I can upgrade the M.2 drive myself. Everything else is soldered. As long as there is some type of open source distribution or someone like FydeOS, I believe my tablet will serve me a good long time beyond its years, two years and counting so far, so good.

Im glad you use roblox as a sample of gaming because most of my friend only plays roblox haha. May i suggest to show us the graphics level when you try to play roblox on devices? Because some of us can't even play properly without lowering the graphics quality in roblox. Three of our laptop can only play at number 3 graphics quality while mine can play max. And the demanding graphics game we ever played in roblox was Phantom Force

I had its predecessor, the Hi10 Pro until a few months ago. Little guy was amazing, it was my laptop for years while I was traveling (I used it mostly for writing and Office documents) until it suddenly stopped rotating the screen (I had to rotate it manualy from WIndows desktop). I had to replace it after a particularly nasty drop into a pond (repairing it was just not worth it, cost-wise). I still miss it, I would have loved to install Linux on it.

@@kazoo1220 Hi, sorry for the late response. If you don't do very CPU/GPU intensive work, it would be just great, but Windows has the nasty habit of slowing down underpowered hardware. So please be aware of that. Get it only if it's super cheap. I bought my Hi10 Pro in 2017 and around 2021 the accelerometer and camera stopped working (so I had to rotate the screen manually from Windows), but it lasted me until March 2024. So I got more than my money worth from it. :) Indeed Chuwi is prone to errors and bad service, so I recommend it only if you get it for super cheap and if it is not your main computer but mostly something lightweight to use while on the go.

I see you were struggling with the kickstand, it kept slipping off, you bend it the other way around, the top part has fewer magnets, bottom part strong magnets, the top part is the one that touches the ground

@@UndergroundTech the Acer aspire range with the ryzen 3/5 are really cheap rn, like under $300 for a FHD IPS screen, decent gaming performance, and a long battery life, backlit keys, etc. they're also upgradable and run linux well if you're into that.

Yeah the acer aspire 3 was solid esp. when it was on sale for $150 and had an intel i3 with 8GB RAM. I've got my eyes on that lineup. let me know if you find something good on sale!

But faster and cheaper. I was cross shopping the duet and another tablet running the same specs as seen in the video and this chuwi tablet as well. The tablet I went with has a 14 inch screen and it's running at 1080p. The lag he was encountering was exactly why I went with a lower resolution. I learned my lesson after having a smaller 8 inch Windows tablet years ago made by hp. That thing lagged like crazy because of the 1440p screen.

For anyone in the market mind you, this is a nice cheap tablet with 2 major flows: speakers are really bad and the battery life is fucking MISERABLE! 3-4 hrs is the most you can count on if you idle with the lowest brightness. 1.5-2hrs is a TYPICAL time if you watch youtube and general use. And if you benchmark it or do some heavy work, man, forget about it. it's 30-45mins...

Stop being a baby just boot a linux distro on it and resell that windows license on marketplace. Its not an arm chip so installing custom os should be possible.

​​@@saf751_ that might not always be a solution. Proper hardware support is not always guaranteed. I have a similar tablet to the one shown in this video, it uses the same processor, 16 GB of RAM and a 1080p screen and no matter which Linux distro I threw at it, the touch screen never worked. I tried Manjaro, Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Debian, and Fedora, none worked. Not everyone wants to deal with that headache. I might try Chrome OS next just to see if it works but I doubt that it will. Even if it does I will not use it because I like not having just Chrome as a browser and I don't want to have to run Firefox through Debian on Chrome OS.

While the Hi10 Max isn't specifically designed for gaming, it handles light gaming with ease. It's more suited for tasks like work, writing, and browsing

Are they really lying like that on the listing? These tablets are great for media consumption, browsing and some document editing. Heck, it might even be good for programming and photo editing (within reason) but not for gaming.

Are you from the company? Well my chuwi corebook x lost its keuboard keys after only 4 months, keeps making random space clicks and i through it away! Disappointed from first purchase although i bought Alldocube laptop which held forever ​@@XinJiang-v3d
