I love these videos! Though not sure if the Gene McDaniels qualifies as "cheap". The avg. cost for a VG or better is around $30-35.

Sometimes I break the rules and sneak in a cool record. I do think you can find an affordable vg+ -- it’s just gonna take you quite a while 🤪

Stan Getz Sweet Rain. I see this record all the time for $8 - $15..I think being late Verve scares people away. The young Cats backing Stan really brings it. Once you hear it, you will love it.

Even the original 66 of Drums unlimited is cheap. I saw it for the same price as the 68 I think I mentioned I bought. But like you say, I didn’t feel compelled to try to get OG for a two year repress on a cheap heat record 🤷

For sure. I’ve always found Drums unlimited always seems like one of those records that stores inflate the price on but can be found online very cheaply in all its incarnations -- odd as it’s usually the other way around. One of the great Roach records though that doesn’t get enough love
