Ooh your hair is looking especially pretty today! You piqued my interest re: Chant d'Extase, I've heard a few people talk about this Nina Ricci range and it's never appealed before, but this one sounds quite unusual. My favourite frag genre is fruity scents, and I was convinced I wasn't a bit fan of florals this time last year. However, I'm suddenly finding I can't get enough of jasmine, orange blossom and tuberose, don't know what's happened to me! So currently trying to resist buying L'Orchestre Parfums Flamenco Neroli and Byredo Flowerhead after enjoying discovering them recently...

It's a nice one! I've worn mine a lot but I find it fades towards mid afternoon... One to see how you feel when the decant is gone! ❤️

Well... The Poudre one sounds very nice. The Moschino, headless but sounds like my sort of nonsense fun perfume. Insolence, the one I tried I love, but we know I do love violet and especially a fruity violet. A very beautiful one., That nina ricci one I tried didn't I? I think I remember it being interesting., A floral hum and indolic white floral? I have to be honest Gucci is one of my least explored of the big designers. Though what I've tried although not always for me are spectacular. Le Parfum was a huge surprise, yes it's absolutely blooming gorgeous and yea very sweet and big but damn nice. Wysteria is lovely but I don't think I could pick it out with hyacinth, born quite similar to me. But it sounds like a pleasant MJ. That lovely green bottle didn't sound too bad at all and the tops of these types of fragrances can be a "challenge". And a used bottle 😱 and a pleasant one from Jimmy Choo? That's a turn up for the books 😜. Great catagories. I think I need more Osmanthus and mimosa for the spring to go with all my white florals. I've been wearing that tea one a stupid amount, I really enjoy and Luna of course

I think that Moschino could go either way for you. It might be in the OTT fun category though not the angel nova category. 😂 Maybe? Gucci is yeah generally interesting I agree. They aren't dull. Yes you tried chant d'extase. It's odd because when I first tried daisy dream all I got was wisteria, now I get more of the fruits and not always the same ones 🤷♀️ I swear that scent has change since last spring or maybe I just smell different things, not sure. Wisteria, hyacinth, bluebells, they are all in the ball park aren't they? If I didn't know it was wisteria, would I pick it as wisteria? Probably not. I do love wisteria though, I was really sad when we had our house repointed at the front and I had to chop down the wisteria to just a tiny main branch, cos it's one of those plants that flowers first and grows later, so you prune it straight after flowering to max the growth time. Yeah the top of rare Tiffany is not pretty to me at all. It's got that slightly synthetic rubbery thing. It's one to wait with. I also feel like I just cannot describe it at all 🤦♀️ I actually think you might like that illicit flower. It's in Boots so you can go look shifty and try it. 😂 Then cover yourself in Joop when you decide it's not for you. 😂 Oh the jasmine tea one? I need to try the penhaligons. I have been put off by the dabbers (and also because they make me sad about Becca, I'd rather be talking to her regularly, but that's ridiculous in a way, I need to decant them.

@@dr.claire.perfume no Luna is peachy heaven with no peach 🤣 ill have to send u a few dribbles. I was in John Lewis at the weekend, sprayed some designers, the Drop d'issey stood out as rather lovely and something else I can't remember 🤣. And some awful ones too, the new one Millions, utter vile garbage 🙄 Oh and the le belle Parfum was like a nice too sweet boiled sweet
@dr.claire.perfume2 жыл бұрын
@@scentedsnowdrops I have Luna, just in a dabber, so I need to decant it and try it. That might happen over Easter. I meant the Kilian jasmine tea one, I was asking whether that was the tea one you'd been wearing? I can't with la belle le parfum. It's a headache for me and I just don't like it either, it's not like I am sad about it. I know that's not the thing to say on KZbin but just NOT for me. I love drop d'issey though, that has been on my list for a while... That one is lovely! Did you try Narciso musc noir rose?
@scentedsnowdrops2 жыл бұрын
@@dr.claire.perfume I cudnt see any NR sadly but I shall defp sniff them when I see them. Oh the Tea one, no that State of Mind one, I'll defo send u some it's lovely 😊. And haha I know and I agree with u, pleasant but they should do better JPG

@@scentedsnowdrops I have kept trying la belle and the flanker... Still I don't like it, I don't know what's wrong with me 😂 everyone else loves it... I am so curious to know whether you like Narciso poudrée, ambrée or the red one that I don't remember the name of too, I've not tried the red one, that's next on my list to sniff.

Ohh rare Tiffany I want to smell that one ,I like a watery floral ,I smell daffodils in datura noir? And there aren’t any daffodils,my nose is broken 🤦♀️
@dr.claire.perfume2 жыл бұрын
Rare Tiffany is so confusing for me. The notes sometimes make sense and sometimes not at all. 😂 I want to try datura noir, everyone seems to love that one. I've tried bapteme.du feu, dent de lait and another one that I forget... I love that daffodil smell, so spring like!

Yes I am not a fan of BR540 dupes at least... Trying those has made me wary of it.

Shay and blue frags are gorgeous but they do not last and I have to douse myself in them to keep smelling them they are also not cheap for the longevity. So I’m here bank card poised about to burn a hole in my children’s inheritance and when they ask I’ll say “Claire Smith on KZbin made me do it”. I don’t love peach fragrances so of course I’m off to buy that one first 🙂. I’ll let you know how I get on.
@dr.claire.perfume2 жыл бұрын
😂 yes that's me too, I hate that note, oh ok, well I will go try it! 😂 you are spot on with Shay and blue, that little 10ml bottle costs £20, although you can often get them on a deal and I remember my immense disappointment at the longevity to begin with for that price, but it is a lovely fresh peach schnapps complete with soda. not sparkly but it has that dryness.

Hmmm I might send you Daisy Dream Edp 🧐
@dr.claire.perfume2 жыл бұрын
I've not tried that one, I remember you doing a comparison and saying the EDT and EDP were similar... For me, daisy dream EDT had changed a bit since I first got it. I think I need to start deliberately trying to finish it, I'm not sure if it is degrading a little. 🤔

😂😂I find it quite funny when people criticise the name of fragrances! I think I could care less what the fragrance is called.😆
@dr.claire.perfume2 жыл бұрын
I just find it hard to remember what it is called because it's the same name as another of their fragrances and it's just a bit unmemorable and not distinctive 😂
