Growing up I used to think that I didn't like rose fragrances, because all the ones that I could remember were so powdery and not fresh at all. I even thought that I didn't like the flowers at all. That was until about 9 years ago, when I smelled roses on a bush. These were yellow peace roses in my mother law home. It instantly became the most beautiful thing I have ever had the pleasure the smell. I haven't found anything like it since. So fresh, sweet, dewy, just beautiful! So back then I went on a quest to find a perfume with that scent, and I saw a few forums where people mentioned Rose by Paul Smith. I don't know why, but I kept thinking of that perfume but hesitated to buy it (it would've been a blind buy, I didn't want to be disappointed). But yesterday I FINALLY bought this fragrance and now i am waiting for it to get here. I haven't been this excited in a long time. Have you ever tried this perfume? It is well loved and it is in almost every rose perfume list. Anyway beautiful selection, I added the freshest ones to my list. I am curious about some of the oud ones, but in this humid hot weather I am not sure.

I keep seeing Rose by Paul Smith discounted in online shops. I haven’t tried it before, taking note of this suggestion. I know this is an affordable rose fragrance! So happy about your discovery of rose in Fragrances’s I am honestly not a big fan initially too. I like peonies and then white florals (except tuberose) and then rose if I were to rank the florals. ❤️❤️❤️

Nobody talks about Pure Extreme by M. Micallef. It's such a great clean scent 🥰 I've never recognized a similarity to Chloe 🤗 have to smell again and compare 😅

Hi Heidi! I probably heard of only 2 reviewers so far talk about Pure Extreme. I got Chloe right away when I first smelled Pure Extreme haha. Maybe it’s just my nose??? ❤️❤️❤️

I’m very picky with Rose fragrances. I read on a review that Trusardi Delicate Rose has a peppery smell to it. I hate peppery notes. Even though it’s not listed I got a peppery smell in Armani My Way, Mugler Alien Flora Futura, Bvlgari Omnia Coral and Givenchy Live Irresistible Delicieuse. Do you get even a drop of pepperyness in Delicate Rose? I had it in my cart but when I saw that I deleted it.

Hello Summer Rain! Perhaps you should sample Delicate Rose first then if that's the case. Just to make sure 😊 I personally do not get a peppery note in Delicate Rose. Thanks for dropping by! ❤️

@@EaudeJane the problem is where to sample? The full size bottle is only $40 on fragrancenet so to buy a small decant for $15 if I can find one just doesn’t seem worth it. I’m on a no buy but when I come around to buying again I think I might just take the risk. Thanks for your reply.

you need to get yourself some bigger sized dior prive! Those splash bottles dont cut it

Totally agree! I was gifted with a 40mL bottle of Gris Dior for Valentine’s this year! Looking to own LaColle Noir once I ran out of my mini 😊😊😊
