I think Vaer needs to be in this conversation. Field-style watches, dive watches, just added a GMT. They offer both quartz and automatic movements. This is an older video - which means Teddy and his team might not see this comment - but I think it’s important. I’ve heard you talk about limiting the number of watches and brands you mention in many videos in order to keep the time shorter; DON’T! I could listen to you talk about watches for much longer than twelve minutes. Giving more information about more watches over more time is what I look for in list videos. Please don’t be afraid to delve further into subjects; long form content is much more inviting to much of us than it was even just a few years ago. Just my opinion, but I imagine that it is shared by many of your regular viewers. Love everything you do!

They also do a killer field watch called Bunker out of titanium I have my eye on. And they come with Selita movements and the words Swiss-Made on the dial for around $500. I have a Dufrane brand watch (Waterloo silver) and really like it. The specs are great, it met my wrist size requirements, (the leather band is good) and the face treatment is really nice. Sure I could nitpick the overall design a bit, but it was one of the early watches I bought as my interest was growing and before I knew what was truly important to me in a watch. That said, I love it.. Understated yet eye-catching (I've noticed someone checking it out more than once) and with the leather band can be worn with a variety of styles. Also liked purchasing and supporting an American brand/assembled watch. and For the $ I'm very happy with it.. Thanks for a great video, Teddy. I have the Zelos Mako 3 Frost, with a full lume dial. It has quickly become my favorite watch! Another big favorite, I recently acquired is the “ Vario 1918”. This is one you should check out, if you haven’t already!

8:25 This is a cool watch, but at that price I'd rather the Christopher Ward C65 Chronograph. It has similar playful colours but a cleaner look and superior water resistance.

To me, one of most attractive things about micro brands is their prices. Honestly, if I wanted to spend 1,500 or 2,000 on a watch, I would pay a bit more for a Tudor or an Oris or even a good used Omega. Love the Brew, Dan Henry or the Spinnaker or Phoibos watch both for quality and their decent prices. Just my thoughts.

Ocean Crawler dive watches... Big watches, but daily wearable and very good quality/value for $1000ish. 2000 feet water resistant, good adjustable bracelet and a rock solid watch.

Wow, Formex is a micro-brand ?! That’s quite amazing when you look at what they are offering. The specs are impressive with in-house developed technologies. They are so impressive that I would not think of Formex as a micro-brand. 😱 💯👌👍😎 Don’t know all of the brands in that list but I’ll keep an eye on. Baltic is one of my favorite for their design and quality in all aspects. Big fan. 😎 Anordain is kind of a ’niche’ as they are very specific in their craftsmanship but those dial are really amazing. Can’t argue with that. I would have added Lorier to the list. Like Baltic they go for vintage inspired design. Classic, clean and simple with quality. 😎👌👍

Great discoveries. That British designed "Farer" chrono sport caught my eye and is certainly a conversation starter. Thanks for sharing Teddy.

Yes, however it's manual rather than automatic as Teddy incorrectly stated. This does however keep it to a reasonable thickness. It comes in a few different colour options, including a very cool black dial and steel bezel.
