I love 💕 Devon I haven't been to visit all those beautiful places only been to Exeter and some small towns around there, and I will like to visit the whole area again soon,

Woolfardisworthy is a very small village in Mid-Devon, and very definitely is not large enough for pub or a fish and chip shop (it is pronounced Woolsery though), Woolsery is a village in North Devon ... Widdecombe-in-the-Moor is in a valley, so you a great view of the surrounding hills! The cafe is amazing though and does an amazing breakfast! Also it (and the staff) are very dog-friendly. You missed Bigbury -on-Sea, but let's face pretty much *every* small village in Devon is delightful!

Shaldon is in ‘Teenbridge’ on the ‘Teen’ river estuary, opposite to ‘Tinmuth’ and downstream from villages like ‘Drew-stain-tun’ and ‘King-stain-tun’. The river Tyne is still solely located in the NE. Sorry that Devonian pronunciations can be so unpredictably confusing. I would nominate Broadhembury, though it is probably on the small side to move to at 650 souls. Its mixture of cob and thatched dwellings means that it is almost entirely ‘chocolate box’, complete with ancient parish Church and medieval Drewe Arms pub, all nestling at the bottom of the Blackdown Hills.

If you sell your place in London then you may be able to afford a place in one of these towns/villages, otherwise stick to Clacton.

You obviously have not visited these places as you can't pronounce a lot of them correctly but have chosen tourist hotspots which are hell to live in. If you had been to Devon for any length of time you would know that Modbury is the perfect place to live. All you have mentioned are great to visit but certainly not to live.

We need more ethnic minorities in Devon. Perhaps even up to 65% or more. Would be nice and diverse.

@ianpalfrey I hope your joking or being sarcastic because overcrowding communities and cities with Third Worlders makes life difficult and dangerous for rhe natives.

As a Devon born and bred, I agree. Just as long as they interact / contribute to the local community in a meaningful and positive way.
