As I said before, in today's The Clashers video we're going to look at the plant life of our planet Earth and show you some unique carnivorous plants. Where evolution went wrong and why plants resorted to eating animals is not known, but it is clear that it is there. Today we will travel to the most exotic places and countries, but not to go on vacation, but to look at 12 carnivorous plants that successfully hunt and eat animals.
We begin with a plant that seems to be from another planet, not only in appearance, but also in its way of life. In fact, it is a primitive plant from the prehistory of the earth, which survives to this day in Africa, thanks to an interesting predatory tactic. Darlingtonia, like most carnivorous plants, thrives in places with little soil nutrients and therefore relies on several tricks to obtain nutrients. The way it captures its prey is also interesting. It attracts them with a sweet smell and once inside, the insects become disoriented as the cobra has several false exits. Now I will introduce you to the most ingenious or, in Bulgarian, the strangest plant of all. We move to Venezuela, where the bromeliad grows on the tops. It collects rainwater, and in it there are heaps of small animals, with which they form a symbiosis, and when they die, they become its food. However, a predatory thief is often found next to it, this is the Utricularia.
I hope you enjoyed our journey through the world of plants today, and if so, please subscribe to the channel. I really appreciate it.
