I’ve been meaning to get to The Immortalists & The Girl Who Drank the Moon for FOREVER! THE NEAR WITCH YASSSS. 👏🏻 It reminded me so much of Neil Gaiman’s work! What’s your favorite book of his? I actually just draw the stars myself! I use an app called SketchBook :) I finished that graphic novel and it was 5/5 stars. So good! I highly recommend it :)

i have a jane eyre book but i want to buy the one you have just for that cover! lol. colgan wrote another novel called the bookshop at the shore that was a quick cozy read too. its not related to the corner one, but has a similar beginning, zoe wants to start new life & moves from too noisy london to a small town in locc ness w/ her 4 yr old son to work in a book store & she gets another job as a nanny to a single dad....hhhhmmm.. its sweet.

Thank you so much! I edit my videos in Final Cut Pro, and there’s a color balance edit you can do :) But also, I used to be a wedding videographer so I have years of practice with color grading. The more you practice, the better you’ll get! Do you use final cut for editing?!?

Oh no...., okay so this is embarrassing and so bad of me to say......... but... I have never , EVER....... ever finished a book in my life. I’ve never been a book warm and my adhd in so many hobbies and interests cause my attention span in so many books to be short. But your videos really really inspire me and motivate me to explore even fictional stories.

Nearly two years after the fact, but just in case anyone else is going through older fall recommendation videos as we head into Autumn 2021, wanted to leave this note. If The Bakeshop at Pumpkin and Spice is anything like the first book in the Moonbright, Maine series (The Cottage on Pumpkin and Vine), those short stories won't be clean romances and will include sex scenes. So, wanted to leave a heads-up for anyone else like Desi who prefers to read cleaner books instead. :)

The immortalists is a family of children (4) who go to this creepy old lady in a tenement to find out their death date. It is not at carnival and the kids are sisters and brothers. 🤔 I liked this book, it is very complete.

The Immortalists is NOT cozy at all and it's only paranormal in the prologue. The rest is each sibling's life for about 75 pages until they die. It's a good book, but it's not a great book for fall specifically. It's a family drama. There's no magic (except in the first couple of pages). It's just really sad. It's a great family story, but the synopsis LIES.
