A Gentle Rain is pretty cozy. I think of calming as cozy. Solo games are often calming so I enjoy them as a cozy night type of game. Calico is also pretty cozy feeling with the cats and the blankets. 😊

I agree with all of these! …but one that is the absolute epitome of fall is Leaf! I backed it on kickstarter, but only just played for the first time in September - so beautiful on the table! Fun little puzzley, cozy fall game. ❤

@@dessireshallenberger2836 I like Leaf, as a game it’s ok. I LOVE the look of it (especially the deluxe version I have). I also have Wondrous Creatures, but haven’t played it yet! I’ve heard of Fairy Ring, but don’t know much about it. Tough call!

Deckula is a silly solo vampire card game that seems right this time of year. There is another print and play solo card game called the Brambles that looks fun, but haven’t been able to print and assemble it.

Been interesting in Creature Comforts and Maple Valley for a while, but watching to catch them on sale... Witchcraft! - seen that one my past few trips to Barnes&Noble, just haven't been ready to spend money at the time to pick it up yet... (My wife is right, I spend way too much on games ;) ) Spellbook, seen in the store a few times, but with the name I always forget to research the game on line to see if I really want it, this video is a good reminder... Harvest.... seen that at B&N too.... darn it, you are gonna get me in trouble with my wife for destroying our budget, aren't you? Honey Buzz.... you're killing my bank account... Athenuem,,, when I first discovered/got into solo board games a few years ago I saw this in store, but the box didn;t mention a solo mode, so it was soon forgotten. Your video got me to look it up on BGG, and there is a fan-made solo mode, had to see if I can find this locally maybe... Surprised no Mythwind....

I've got Witchcraft! but haven't played it yet. I agree with Three Sisters and Wok and Rol. I've got Korean Wok as well and have yet to play it. Can't wait to receive my copy of Wild Gardens. I'm hoping to get my hands on the media pack expansion. And a Gentle Rain could easily fit in this catogory too. Also the card game Autumn.

I assume the association with witchy and cozy autumn is just Halloween. Halloween is a big theme during the autumn months and so thus Halloween (witches/magic stuff) is cozy! Which is great! 🎃

Fair warning to viewers: "Witchcraft!" is a reimplementation of the game "Resist!" and all other reviews I've seen say that it is a great game but it can be very difficult and punishing. I'm surprised to see it on a "cozy game" list and suggest folks watch some other reviews on it to be sure it's what they're looking for before buying.

Where can you get Creature Comfort with the solo version. Every time I look it is 2-5 players. When I see a photo with 1-5 players I click on it but then the box and description shows 2-5 players.

The solo version is basically just playing the multiplayer version alone with one player. Nothing changes except maybe you cycle the cards available at end of round. It’s very simple solo.

@@CamObscura88 thanks. I never could find the box in the video. I find to like the games that already has the solo version. Except someone made a nice solo version for Forest Shuffle that I like.

You pull out a few of the cards for the solo but play the game the same way and just remove comforts ans improvements at the end of the round. Its a great cozy game as is maple valley. Different mechanics but both great games and similar themes. Actually same place but one is getting ready for winter and the other is welcoming spring.
