Thanks Steve that's explained how to use the balls I made lol

Fir that ball mould a little tip is to top the mould with a glue gun just a little circle around the pour hole so after a bit of shrinkage when hardening/curing they won't have a divet plus you can said them to perfect sphere's 😉👌

There is another resin artist I follow on you tube, Sveta Fresh ideas in resin. She often casts these smaller balls inside of larger balls. The results are beautiful. I hope I can one day do as well as others.

I just went to check out that channel and saw her video where she set little bottles and ball ornaments into resin to make tiny bud vase suncatchers. Genius! I'd love to see Steve's take on it!😉

I love little bobbles/bubbles... I use a lot of tiny leftover resin that way, they make wonderful Christmas ornaments for smaller trees also. 🎅🎅🎄🎄 Trying to finish my gift list up so I can move on to new things. So keep crafting!! Ringy-dingy 🔔🔔🎄🎅🎁🦋🦋

I’ve got this mould, but haven’t used it yet. But It looks like the tops come out somewhat flat? UV resin works well I’ve found for attaching such things as jewellery caps and earring backs.
@heisebasse2 жыл бұрын
I have the same mold. You can fix the flat end by using uv resin.

Steve is epoxy resin the best to use to get the best results, asking as epoxy seems to take ages to set in this weather x

These came out just gorgeous! I may have to get that mold.
@bernadetteflynn50052 жыл бұрын
Steve there is an easier way. Put a head pin inside the beadcap before sticking it and then you don’t have to do any drilling as the head pin then becomes your loop for your chain.

That resin company you use have great resin prices. I am in the US and they have a US shipping site to. Think I will have to order some resin from them. Thank you How about little ball earrings, There flat on the back right? Maybe the will be to big
