It was an informative and wonderful scientific introduction about Homo Neanderthals apocalypse due to ice ages, Eruption of Volcano 🌋 and other factors..all of those facts internally intervened .. Thank you [ Get.factual] channel for sharing....whey Eruption ,Volcano ashes and climate changes affected Neanderthals badly and vanished them while Homo sapians besides them they survived?

The Homo Sapiens that lived in the same area, near the volcano, also died. Mostly the Homo Neanderthal resided near Gibraltar area. But the Homo Sapiens lived far and wide (or else in Africa) and therefore most(?) of them were able to escape the ash and survive the volcanic winter. 🙂 I hope that helps. I think I got most of it right.

This is so weird! It's the opposite of everything I learned about early hominids in school, which I thought were the same as Neanderthals. I seriously thought they were like the portrayals in the Far Side cartoons, bashing each other upside the head with clubs (ergo the term "knuckle-dragger")... and then slowly evolved INTO modern humans. This is the first time I'm hearing the idea of Neanderthals and modern humans existing at the same time. I also thought huge facial features were a Neanderthal trait that more or less died out.
