Lein waver for the homeowners that want to feel secure after you are payed. Usually i explain it during the signing of the contract and only some actually want to sign it but it is to protect the homeowner more than the contracter.

Notice of Intent to File a Lien. In my state, we're required to send this before actually filling the lien. Out of all the times I've sent this, it's always produced immediate payment. I've never actually had to file the lien. In fact, just emailing them the form and telling them to expect to get it in their mailbox has been successful.

We’ve had the same results except once, a customer did not respond and still didn’t pay and we had to see it through all the way to court. Still not paid to this day If the customer ever sells her house then we will be paid at closing.

OK. SKE I HAVE A VIDEO IDEA BASED ON MY EXP RIGHT NOW. IM STARTING A ROOFING COMPANY HERE IN PONCA CITY OKLAHOMA. THIS LITTLE TOWN ONLY HAS 4 ROOFING COMPANIES. ONE BIG ONE (AMERICAN ROOFING) WHICH I WORKED FOR . I KEPT TELLING THEM TO ADD THIS OR OFFER THIS TEACH ME THIS SO I CAN HELP KEEP THE COMPANY ALIVE. BECAUSE THEY HELPED ME WHEN I WAS IN PRISON. THROUGH GOV. LABOR ETC. SO I LOVED THESE PEOPLE LIIKE FAMILY. WELL I DIDNT THINK IT WAS A CAREER. THEY WERE GETTING OUT OF THE RES9DENTIAL SIDE OF IT SO THAT WOULD OPEN SOME DOORS.SO LONGSTORY SHORT,,,, I AM STARTING MY OWN ROOFING ENTITY . WELL I AM TRYING TO DO SO MUCH AND TIME IT ALL RIGHT BECAUSE I LEFT THE COMPANY AND NOW I HAVE TO FIND MY OWN WORK . NO CLUE BESIDES WORD OF MOUTH SOCIAL MEDIA ADV. ETC. WELL ITS WORING SLOWLY AND IM OK WITH THAT BECAUSE NO LLC IN HAND , NO INSURANCE YET, NO BANK ACC. ETC. WELL COULD YOU MAKE SOMETHING THAT REALLY TARGETS US YOUNG GUNS WHO JUST HAVE GUTS AND CONFIDENCE TO MAKE A WAY FOR OUR FAMILYS. MY WIFES INCOME AND MY SAVINGS IS ALL WE HAVE.. SHE ACTUALLY BEGAN AN ACCOUNTING CLASS FOR HER BACHEALORS DEGREE BEFORE I LEFT AMERICAN ROOFING, AND I THINK IT WILL ALL WORK WELL. I CAN MAKE SOME CHANGE ONE ROOF AT A TIME 2 A MONTH 1 AT WORST. WITH JUST ME AND 2 HANDS AND FIGURE THIS THING OUT. IM LEARNING THE PROCESS AND LUCKILY HERE IN OK. WE DONT HAVE TO HAVE CONTRACTOR LICENSE BUT ONLY ROOFERS. , SO IT FEELS RIGHT. FROM YOUR TIPS I WILL NEED THIS PAPERWORK. SO THATS WHY IM WATCHING AND EVEN SAYING ANYTHING.I AM GETTING MATERIAL PRICES FROM LOWES WEBSITE AS WE SPEAK BECAUSE THEY NEVER TAUGHT ME WHERE TOS.I JUST PAID ATTENTION..I KNOW THE OTHER 3 SUPPLIERS ITS JUST THAT LOWES SHOULD GIVE ME A PRICE TO WORK WITH AS FAR AS ESTIMATES. NOW WHAT SHOULD I BE DOING TO KEEP CUSTOMERS COMFORTABLE. I KNOW HOW TO COMPETE AND I COULD BE HONEST IN A FEW WAYS SO THEY UNDERSTAND BUT I WANT THEM TO KNOW THEY ARE SAFE. SO THEY GIVE ADDRESS I DRIVE OVER IN MY 2000 BMW WITH MY TINY EXTENDO LADDR AND TAPE WHEEL AND TAPE MEASURE, I COULD BUY A REPORT BUT I CANT AFFORD THE 15 OR 30 IT COST RIGHT NOW . MY OLD COMPANY DID THAT BECAUSE THEY HAD MONEY BUT I DONT WANNA GET LAZY LIKE THEM. AND I WANNA FEEL THE PROCESS OF IT STARTING . FIRST ADDRESS BASED OFF MY GUESS ESTIMATE. I MAY HAVE MADE MISTAKE BUT I THINK MY LOWER PRICE GOT ME THE TRUST. NOW I JUST NEED TO KNOW HOW TO APPROACH THIS. WITH NO CONTRACT OR HELP OR LAWYER OR TRUCK. JUST EFFORT AND FAITH. I HAVE NO FUNDS TO START JOB SO I WILL TALK WITH HOME OWNER BECAUSE THIS IS JUST A HOME THEY ARE FLIPPING SO ITS TRASH NEEDS WORK SO NOT AN ISURANCE CLAIM. SO ITS A CASH REMODEL I CALL IT. SO I NEED THEM TO KNOW I AM JUST HELPING AND I WILL DO QUALITY WORK . HELL IM EVEN SPLITTING THE JOB WITH BOTH HANDS BECAUSE I KNOW WITHOUT THEM TRADEMARCK ROOFING WOULDNT BE ABLE TO DO THE PROJECT WITHOUT THEIR VALUABLE SACRIFICE ON A WEEKEND BECAUSE THEY ARE A CREW MY OLD COMPANY USES. I KNOW NOBODY EXCEPT THESE CREWS AND WE ARE LIKE BROTHERS BECUASE THEY TRAINED ME AND I SPEAK BETTER ENGLISH THAN THEM AND THEY KNOW I COULD MAKE IT SO THEY WANNA HELP. WHAT DO I DO. DONT ASK THEM FOR HELP. DONT GO ANY FURTHER BECAUSE ITS TO HARD ? GIVE UP AND TRY SOMETHING ELSE OR MAKE A PLAYLIST FOR TRAINING NEWBIES LIKE MYSELF. SO I CAN REVISIT STUFF I FORGOT.. WHAT ABOUT MAITENANCE CONTRACTS. OR HOW DO I START A MAITENACE RELATIONSHIP SO I CAN BE THIER CALL FOR REPLACEMENT.. LITTLE STUFF MAKE SOMETHING LIKE IF YOU ARE STARTING A ROOFIN ADVENTURE AND YOUR WATCHING THIS AND ITS TO LATE TO TURNBACK NOW. LOL SERIOUSLY THOUGH SKEEEE. I SEE YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE BUSINESS. I WAS A FOREMAN, METAL SHOP MANAGER , AND REPAIRMAN , FOR AMERICAN ROOFING FOR 3 YEARS AND I SEEN POTENTIAL IN ROOFING. SO HERE I AM. IM SMART , TO SMART TO WORK FOR SOMEBODY BUT I LEFT BEFORE I STARTED THE ROOFING COMPANY SO IT IS WHAT IT IS. SORRY ITS A BOOK AND NOT A COMMENT.
