I am now 71, when I was a teenager & for many years the 68 Camaro was my favorite car, these days I love almost all vintage autos, you are an awesome lady for keeping this car alive, keeping making good memories, God bless you and your family !!! USA,Virginia

Thanks Ross, yeah her episode is one of the most impressive to date because I have not seen anyone work 16 hour days and sleep in a car. As someone whos doing a similar restoration (as you know) I have a hell of a lot of respect for her. Not easy work, beats up your body, lots of time and money. But always worth it in the end. Thanks for dropping in

Nice! My dad had my current 67' since he was 18 or 19 back in 83-84. I inherited it as a stripped down roller and am nearing completion on the resto/build. I love seeing other stories of parents who kept their cool cars and their kids who now love and enjoy them. To many let there cars go and its sad.

I'm pretty sure that I would rather drive the car daily cause it's not good for em just letting cars just set alot plus all the work and attention the got from her throughout the years, the car deserves to be seen cause that's when cars were so simple to keep up compared to today's car's. I'm a retired mechanic and I wouldn't know where to begin to troubleshoot newer vehicles. The 60s and 70s cars I could just listen to the engine and figure out what the problems were and it was same with the transmissions and suspensions with the old school rides..I'm happy for her cause I'm pretty sure she went through alot just to keep the car in her family. Plus the amazing story is what makes it even better ❤
@SubdivisionAuto
@SubdivisionAuto 2 ай бұрын
Oh 100% agree with you. I've been lucky to do enough stories on this channel to learn how simple the old cars are and I actually ended up buying a 72 Nova. Doing the whole thing from the ground up and you can watch it on this channel. But there is something about the odk cars that's just aweosme. Yes new cars are way to complicated. At the same time I'm on the same page as you I believe cars are made to be driven So you will see us driving in the rain all year when it's ready to go. Not everyone does that which is cool but hey long as the cars are on the road not rotting away! Thansk for dropping in hope you checkout some more videos on our channel

Have owned my '67 Camaro SS350 4 speed 4.11 posi 12 bolt 49 years! Went on our honeymoon 44 years ago! Still looks new as it is a convertible and have kept in garage since '82! I love the first gen Camaros, as the body lines are the best of all Camaros, IMO! Own a '87 Grand National since new and wifes brothers '68 Cougar, 428 cobra jet w/ram air hood! Yesterday I met a Camaro enthusiast with a '69 496 and 6 speed trans, 4 wheel discs and it was the fastest car I've ever been in!
