12 Hours at Point of Rocks

On July 1, 1988 I spent 12 hours at Point of Rocks, Maryland. This video represents an historical record for all of the action at Point of Rocks during the 12 hours I was there. Point of Rocks is the junction of the B&O's Old Main Line (OML) with the B&O's Metropolitan Division (Met). The OML runs between Baltimore and Wheeling, West Virginia, and the Met runs between Point of Rocks and Washington, DC.

Was the Capitol Limited late that day? It should come through Point of Rocks at about 4:50 pm, almost 2 hours before the one in this video. I know this happened before the Indiana reroute, so did it run on a different schedule before that or something?
