OMG, I'm chasing my roselle plants across the yard. The malabar spinach is floating out of the bed like some primeval floral octopus.. It's an Adventure living in Florida. Good luck to all who have been hit hard by Ian . Thoughts and prayers are with you.

8 AM wed here North of Orlando, I had to work all day yesterday so only had last night to work on tidying up. Honestly this storm looks far worse. We're from Miami so Andrew hit some years ago and this one reminds me of that storm. Very Scary. Like your shutter system. I have nothing on my house and would like something easy like that. My thoughts are with you and your family. See you on the other side. Thank you for all you have done here. I only have mini eggplants and cowpeas to harvest today.

Hope you are able to wrap up what you need to do for your home. Having to work until the very end is the worse. I've had that many times and it is terrible. So I truly hope you have time to get what you need done. Our first hurricane was also Hurricane Andrew. I'm so concerned for all in the path. Looks close to a cat 5. Thinking of you and see you on the other side.

We’ve battened down over here in Volusia. You don’t realize how many plants in containers you have until you have to save them from a hurricane. I didn’t count them, at least not yet, but everyone here agrees that I have too many😂 I agree but will never admit it 🤣
