Btw. Tuslob buwa is pig brain. It’s cooked in a way where it would turn into a gravy where the hanging rice is dipped. The hanging rice is a plain white rice cooked and wrapped in palm leaves.

I'm Filipino but I've never been to Cebu. This was really a nice vlog. That one shop def cheated you x) - unli conversation, unli soup, unli rice to make up for very little ulam/viand. Sorry about that. Also about the sourness, I noticed you're very sensitive to it. Maybe I got used to it because vinegar goes with a lot of Filipino food, as well as calamansi/citrus. Sourness is the best agent to get rid of the fish taste and the greasiness in everything. Anyway, if you're coming back to China right after this, let us know about your life in China too! I don't know about anyone else, but I would like to get a better, insider, perspective of regular Chinese woman's life in China, since a lot of Filipinos have a very negative perception of it right now.
