This guy is awesome. I came here after watching another video where you found discarded disposable vapes and picked them up to dispose of them correctly instead of how people just toss them on the ground very bad for the earth and showed us how to safely charge the battery. Thank you the producers of the industry should have people like you working on their team and the world would be a better place.

I think this is a good idea for all the disposables that dont recharge most do but some dont amazing idea

Hey, that was my idea !!! ;-) If you dont replace the "122"-resistor near the tp4056-plug with a 10k-resistor, u are loading the battery with 1Amp, and it will soon die off, after 4-5 times. With the 10k-resistor, u can recharge it hundreds of times.

I got curious and checked the resistor value. it is 1.2k, but indeed replacing it with a higher value resistor would increase the life of it. The life of it wont be that long maybe, but it will charge faster. it is a trade off I guess.

I would suggest to put a electric Isolator around the exposed circuit sticking out, it could shorten out with a key ect in the pocket.

Nice suggestion :) It will eliminate the shortcut circuit. I had to be really careful to not put things the wrong way. That way it will be even safer than the original one.

you charged a 3.7 v battery with a 5 v charger. Isn't it unstable?

That charger circuit brings the voltage to 4.2 max which is the correct voltage to charge those at

Imagine how many lithium ion batteries are thrown away every day. Also these things are designed to get you super addicted, which makes it so much worse. Good job making it rechargeable, I hope there's a way to refill the liquid as well

you can fill the liquid as well. The cap is removable ;) Also you can order the exact coils & capsules real cheap from chine (like 1 $ for 20 of them)

depends on which type you bought. The one I have used has a usb-c connector, so I can use an USB-C cable.

That is exactly why you need the circuit that I showed in the video. If you use a lion charging circuit like this one, you will be fine. But if now, you have the risks that I mentioned @ 1:55
