New 883 owner here… What’s that seat? Just put a spring solo seat on but it’s not the most comfortable so thinking of switching it out

Hello; the bike looks pretty good. I am not a Harley D man but seems that there are other new 883 that have not so good tank and stance. I want to ask you if I may about the way you record when you are up on the bike. I tried to put the camera on the chest but is too low and is not possible to show the road like you do. I do not want to glue anything on the helmet also. I have and ride old iron. Thanks

I attached a GoPro mount to bottom of my helmet. You get the best angle that way.

@@cumander Do you feel like you sit further back and lower than with the stock seat? And how tall are you?

@@defbear I'm 5'10 and I don't really notice that it's lower or farther back. More than anything it feels more comfortable and it has a bit of a backrest which makes longer trips easier.

Where did you get the license plate relocation from?

Mine came stock with that license plate mount

Do they vibrate a lot? Rubber mounted motor? Mine is a hardtail not rubber mounted.

The bars vibrate a bit but is completely unnoticeable once you start moving. I didn't put any sort of rubber dampening in the clamp. And yep this has a rubber mounted engine, Sportsters have rubber mounted engines 2004-present. Would love to see your hardtail. I couldn't go with a hardtail, even the stock suspension on this bike was too rough for me.

How long did the install take? And what is the name of the color of your bike?

It took me a slow 9 hours, although it was my first time. Electrical stuff took the longest. River rock grey is the colour. Cheers!

Can you still see your rear view mirrors like you could when they were stock?

They're actually a lot better now, nothing is blocking my view. The left mirror was always a bit blocked by my shoulder with the stock bars.

A bit harder. But overall more comfortable and I personally like the look better. I actually had to pull these bars back a bit more than in the video.
