12. Indeterminate Structure and Compatibility Equation

In Practice, we come across many problems in which force in the member is not found just by using equations of statics
We have to consider the nature of deformation to get additional equations called as Compatibility Equation
Then the set of the equation which is developed by equations of statics and Compatibility Equation can be solved to determine forces in the member

50:39 RB = RA / (cos30)^2 doesn't equal RB = 0.75RA instead RA = 0.75RB and the solution for RA is 6.52KN and RB = 8.71KN. Geometrically the final answer in the video isn't correct since RB is colinear with P it should bear most of the load. Overall, the process shown is correct but there was a miscalculation at the end.
